Did you see this?

"Monday, March 29, 2004 4:43 p.m. EST
Al Jazeera Touts Clarke Testimony

Among the media outlets most impressed with former Clinton terrorism chief Richard Clarke's effort to torpedo President Bush's re-election bid is Al Jazeera, better known in the West as the al-Qaida News Network.

Reporting on Clarke's testimony before the 9/11 Commission last week, Al Jazeera gushed that he had caused a "great stir" in America by saying that President Bush's decision to attack Iraq had "greatly undermined the war on terrorism."

My take on this is posted days ago on FR, both under my title, "Red over Come Over, and Quick," and under the more Googleable title given to it by ChronWatch. My bottom line is the same as this article, though more readable and less technical. Clarke's words prove that Clarke is a liar. And only reporters who deliberately prefer Clarke's lies to the truth, now take him seriously.

Interesting. The same people who now say that Bush should've "rushed to war" in Afghanistan before 9/11...based on non-specific chatter, are the same people attacking Bush for doing just that in Iraq, based on a decades worth of beligerance and threats.

Clarke, the man who calls Bush's war in Iraq a destraction to the war on terrorism, is the same man who not only believed that Iraq had a hand in the first 1993 WTC attack, but he also thought Saddam might have a connection to the OKC bombing. Heck, this man who claims Saddam and AQ have no connections, is the same man who provided intel to Cohen and Clinton for the strike on Al-Shifa...claiming that OBL was an investor and that Iraq was some how involved in Al-Shifa's production of the VX nerve agent.

The fact that these facts are available to anyone on the internet is an indication that the partisan media is no longer interested in the truth. How Leslie Stahl can question this guy for two segments and not once question his contradictions is disgusting. I hope this man is brought up on charges.

I could be wrong, but doesn't most of America want these hearings to discover how this happened and how to keep it from happening again....not which president/former president is more culpable.

Clarke’s book was due for release in late April but Simon & Schuster, the crew who advanced Hillary US$8, hurriedly brought it forward. And who owns this publishing company? Why CBSNEWS which is owned by Viacom whose head, Sumner Redstone, is a large political donor to the Clintons

CBS? DANG.....
