This is more impressive if you factor in that Dubya is behind in a few large states like Cali and NY by 8-10 point margins. I bet Bush is considerably more ahead in his 2000 states and probably a few close ones he lost to Gore.

It is a Bush race to lose. He is his own worst enemy right now. If the DOW is over 11000, he will be re elected.

what is Kerry's unfavorable number in this poll? that is actually more important then the head to head numbers this far out.

I stand by my prediction of 55-43, with 1 or 2 for Nader. If the economy is going well, could get to 57.

They are pissed. They thought Clarke would bring Bush's poll numbers down - instead it brought Kerry's numbers down and Bush's up.

Ah, but no poll can account for the perennial fraudulent democrat votes, which this year is going to be huge.

This is some serious sh!te for Kerry considering the hammering the Pres. has been taking lately in the press over the Clarke "revelations" (and I use the term loosely, very loosely).
To: LdSentinal
Kerry is slowly imploding.

If the economy is going well, could get to 57. If enough people see the Dick Cavett debate it could go to 87!

Take that, you dem losers! I sadly expect the outrageous claims by the nutters to come out this summer. Look for claims something along the lines of GW made a pass at a woman, or was dealing drugs in the WH, etc. Some folks will stop at nothing...

These polls are suspect.
8 months from the election and almost no "undecideds?"
