IMUS is advancing the Richard Clarke debate to take Mr. Clarke up publically on his offer to donate proceeds from AGAINST ALL ENEMIES to 9/11 victims.

Imus is supporting Kerry. I'm surprised he's doing this.

Dickie better rush to take this job and make sure he has a signed contract. He's going to need the money for legal fees--I hope.

Good, I see you got it. I was just going to post something and made a final check before doing so. Before making the offer, the I-Man did make the observation that there is surely something not quite right about the guy.

Evan Thomas on now. Clarke is toast. Too many lefties bashing him. Thomas just referred to him as a loud mouth, among other things.

Clarke will probably make a token donation to 911 victims, then flake on the rest. By the time that becomes near to an issue his fifteen minutes will be up, unless they prosecute him for perjury for lying to Congress.

Don Imus on his radio show IMUS IN THE MORNING (also broadcast on MSNBC - TV) just (6:20 AM, Monday 3/30/04) offered Richard Clarke a job with a salary of $100,000 per year plus health benefits to be Security Consultant for his show...Well, at least Imus would get a posthumous apology after he's assassinated.
To: jrlc
If Clarke doesn't take Imus up on this offer, I suppose he will have to again apologize to the families of 9/11 victims. "I failed you once again."

This is whole Clarke thing is going to backfire on the RATS, bigtime.

Just thought of something: Richard Clarke is going to have 12+ hours of fame on the airwaves today. After Imus, Laura, Rush, Sean and the evening shows, like Harball and others, he's going to feel like he dropped the soap in the shower.
Eat your heart out, Franken!

Over at the
Country Store, they're suggesting that Spinning Dick should try endorsements:

Ah, Clarke is the man everybody calls "Dick" even before they find out his first name is Richard.

Ocean view windbreak now available on Elephant Island for Richard Clarke:

The media IS backing off Clarke a little today.....shifting the focus to Condi Rice......in a negative way, of course......i.e. "why won't she testify in public" type of blurbs at the top and bottom of the hours.
The Clarke hype will poop out very soon as the left tears him apart along with the right. The mainstream media knows their P's and Cues.....and when to hold 'em and fold 'em in losing propositions.

I thought Imus was Kerry's big cheerleader. Why would he not like Clarke?

Sometimes the Donny-boy can hit the ball.... Good offer.

Imus should be interesting tomorrow.
After constant promos for Hardball, hyping Clarke getting the tough questions, and Imus humping the interview, Clarke was a no-show tonight.
