Subject: John Kerry, man of the common folk.... he understands your pain, really... trust him - lol, yeah - right

The many homes of Democrat Presidential candiate, John F. Kerry.

Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania  (Assessed value: $3.7 million)

Ketchum, Idaho ski getaway/vacation home  (Assessed value: $4.916 million)

Washington, D.C - Georgetown area (assessment: $4.7 million)

Nantucket, Massachusetts waterfront retreat on Brant Point (Assessed value: $9.18 million)

Boston, Massachusetts  - Beacon Hill home (Assessed value: $6.9)

oh, and he sold this estate in Italy to activist actor George Clooney, just before announcing his running for president.  I guess he thought it might not sit well with the common man.  ($7.8 million)

other foreign property ownership by John Kerry is unknown... because he denied repeated requests for this information.

Please e-mail this information to all your friends, family and contacts.  Class warfare is not right, but neither is being a hypocrite.  This man wants to be our president, while claiming that he relates to Joe-6-pack and the common man.  He wants to raise income taxes on the rich, well, guess what?  He won't pay those taxes because he is already rich!  He wants to make it harder for you to get rich by raising taxes on your income!  Talk about snobbery and protecting his "class."

Please e-mail to at least 5 people.

I don't trust Nordquisling, but this has the ring of truth to it. Wish I had known this a couple of nights ago so i could have been asking the $1000/plate attendees to the 'Rat Unity Dinner about it.

Isn't it amazing that the "little people" still fall for all this Kerry-style hype!

That's what makes MurryMom our favorite resident troll.

Ms. Mom should take a step back and compare Free Republic with DU....she hasn't been banned here, but from what I understand if she were to express anything to the right of my left turn signal over at DU, she'd have been zotted there.

Yeah, they're the party of tolerance and inclusiveness....yeah, that's it.

Why else would the Bushies reduce the estate tax (paid by only the top 5% of all estates), rather than the payroll tax that is paid by all working stiffs?

The "Estate Tax" may not affect the bottom 95% of the populace (at least not directly) but it really doesn't hit the top 1% either. It--like a great many of the liberals' favorite taxes--targets those who are "making it", but aren't there yet.

If someone has a few million dollars in assets but needs to keep most of their assets liquid in their lifetime (e.g. a family farm or business) they'll get clobbered by the estate tax. Those who don't need to keep their assets liquid can generally avoid the estate tax. To be sure, a billionaire is likely to keep a few million dollars of assets liquid and so may pay more in total estate taxes than someone with a business worth just over a billion, but the much larger portion of the billionaire's wealth will escape taxation.

Given that illiquid funds generally produce less tax revenue than funds which are kept liquid, the government--by encouraging wealthy people to set up various trusts, foundations, and such that are immune from estate taxes, also encourages them to stash their money in a way which produces both less revenue for them and less revenue for the government than other means which they'd otherwise use.

"It--like a great many of the liberals' favorite taxes--targets those who are "making it", but aren't there yet."

As Rich Lowry put it, "Democrats love small business owners... until they succeed, at which point they become 'The Rich'".

That's why I'm still working for a living, <<<Let me guess...If you had your "druthers"..you would marry rich, quit any and all productive work, and use your riches and leisure time to tell ME how to live...right?...Can you see the hypocrisy???

If he were to become president, how many of these many dwellings would the taxpayers have to pay to secure as Kerry's alternate white houses?
