One day after unveiling a bold proposal to create 10 million new American jobs, John Kerry will campaign at events in Missouri with Dick Gephardt tomorrow. Early Saturday, Kerry will be in Kansas City for a roundtable discussion with Missouri workers and employers about job creation and in the evening he will rally supporters in Forest Park. Kerry's airport arrival in Kansas City on Saturday morning will be open to the public and the media, his arrival in St. Louis will be open to the media only.
All events are open to the press. No pre-registration needed. Please bring a valid press credential.

So, taking the larger of both, we see that, at most, there are only 9 million unemployed right now. A considerable number of those are unemployable for various reasons, but even if you use that figure, it's obvious that Kerry's 10 million new jobs ain't rooted in reality. It's made up outa whole cloth.
I hope the pubbies call him on it and make him look foolish. He's on the record saying that a 1.5% percent drop in the unemployment rate will produce 10 million new jobs, Ha! 1.5% of 150 million is a little over 2 million. I think 2 million jobs is what President Bush is saying we will see in the next year or so, right? Ha, again!
Anyway, GWB is going to have to change this, or at least the perception of a "weak economy." And do so fairly quickly...time is running out.
But Kerry's plan is totally bogus.
