[history]
March 25, 2004 -- JERUSALEM - This teenage Palestinian homicide bomber - wearing an 18-pound explosive belt - was discovered in the nick of time as he tried to cross a West Bank checkpoint.
After his capture by Israeli troops, Hussam Abdo said he had been sent to blow up the troops and himself - and was promised that his family would be paid $20.

Al Aksa was based in Aachen, Germany, until officials there shut it down last year, and it has branches elsewhere in Europe and in the Middle East and Africa.
The charity describes itself on one of its Web sites as underwriting social services and supporting widows and orphans who have 'lived through the horrors of massacres and lost their breadwinners.' But American officials said the group was 'a critical part of Hamas's terrorist support infrastructure.'
The United States Treasury said yesterday that Hamas raises 'at least tens of millions of dollars per year throughout the world using charitable fund-raising as cover.'
Western authorities began taking action against Al Aksa last year. In March 2002, the State Department froze the assets of a splinter group, Al Aksa Martyrs Brigades, which had claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing in Israel.
German authorities raided Al Aksa International Foundation offices in Aachen in July, seizing property and documents. In January, German authorities arrested Muhammad Ali Hassan al-Muyad, a senior Al Aksa official, accusing him of providing support to a number of terrorist organizations, including Al Qaeda.
Al Aksa collects money through personal donations, often over the Internet. The Web site for a Palestinian relief fund based in London, for example, directs donors in Denmark to send money directly to a Danske Bank account.

"My friends mocked me because of my difficulties in sexual relations."Hang on a second...
I thought it was only in the "great satan" that kids so young were delving into sex?
Little doubt the hatred that drives such a society makes it blind to all else that's happening within it.
The Palestinians look like a society that is about to implode.

I am sickened beyond belief. These ghouls are preying upon the innocent and the completely befuddled. How long can we tolerate the existence of such animals? My respect at the restraint of the Israelis is skyrocketing.
And Israel, no one here in the USA worth anything cares what a bunch of European Socialists think about blowing the hell out of an old fiendish terrorist. Y'all go help yourself and count on 100% support from us over here.

When you see the Palastinians on tv, they all say that they want to die for Allah, so why are they having trouble getting bombers? Another thing I wonder about, if they believe so much in their cause, why are they always masked?

I take that with the same large grain of salt I took the people who were always on Iraqi TV shouting that with their "blood and their hearts they would die for Saddam."
It's easy to froth at the mouth and share the camera-time. But when the sleazebag looking for the day's shahid (not himself, you understand) goes looking for the volunteers... well...
I imagine there are a lot of young lads ducking into closets, out windows and generally fading out over the nearest horizon.

If I recall correctly, there was a similar event a week or two ago and the parents found out. I have doubts about the sincerity of the parents. Perhaps they are genuinely outraged about their son attempting to commit a suicide bombing for $20 -- for $2000, now that's a different story!

I thought it was only in the "great satan" that kids so young were delving into sex? I caught that, too. And they call us decadent.
I wonder which gender he attempts to be intimate with (ahem).

I don't have time to find it now but there was an Opinion Journal article, perhaps Tuesday but definitely this week, that talked about how the Palestinian suicide bombers were mostly outcasts of society, and the leaders were not willing to risk their own lives or the lives of their families for "the cause".
This seems to back that up.

It isn't the amount of money....it's the fact they are seeking the mentally challenged kids to dupe into these operations.
This is is just pure evil..

Ours is a religion of life. Every human soul is precious in the eyes of G-d. Such is the difference between Israel and its enemies. To quote from Jewish tradition, "he who saves one life, saves the entire world." The nations who condemn Israel out of ignorance or hate, do not know how much the blessings of this life are valued by Judaism. May it be to our merit every day to do good deeds before G-d, Our Creator and Father, Blessed Be His Name. Not to change the subject of the post...but a question regarding these passages. I wonder why the Israelis have so many abortions if their faith rejects this as murder. I have read they have a high abortion rate in Israel. Are these more common with the secular socialists? I know in my years of pro-life activity here in Chicago (I used to live in what once was predominately Jewish West Rogers Park)that in front of one local "clinic" we would get approving nods from the Orthodox Jews walking by but no action...ever. Is it because we are considered "unclean?" I know most Jews who are not Orthodox are pro-abort. The only vocal pro-life Orthodox Jew that I know of is Yehuda Levin of New York, although there must be more.

He told soldiers, "My friends mocked me because of my difficulties in sexual relations. "So the people who gave me the belt told me my mother would get 100 shekels and I would have no difficulties when I meet 72 virgins in paradise." ...
Israeli investigators said the men who gave him the belt were members of Yasser Arafat's Fatah faction, as were those who gave an 11-year-old boy a bomb to unwittingly smuggle across the checkpoint last week.It is time to send arafat to his 72 virgins!
I wonder how long it will be before kerry accuses Israel of war crimes.

Palestinian Arabs in occupied territories are under the leadership of a mass murdering cult of death. They are no more free to speak or pursue their self interests than a citizen of Hitler's Germany or Stalin's Russia. Imagine your local Gambini thug rose to become governor with all his bloody henchmen mingling about the people to ensure obedience--murdering and breaking legs when it suits them. Then imagine the worlds leaders giving him money, and political legitimization.
Short of a Palestinian revolution or Iraq-style liberation, there is no hope for the so-called occupied territories.

To be honest with you i found the story sad. 20 bucks for the life of a child homicide bomber and the lives he would have taken. As if there was 20 bucks for the family...or a sexual heaven for the kid. Islam is a nation of fairytales.
To: kattracks
Praise God that no one was hurt! I pray that this is part of an awakening of people deceived by Islam.

The best thing the Israelis can do is to video these encounters with child homocide bombers. This shows the world, especially the Arab world, what Arafat is like. It sickens even some Muslims that Hamas should exploit retarded children, such as this boy, for their dirty work. The reward for the families has gone down dramatically from the good old days when Saddam, the Saudis, and Kaddafi were bankrolling these bombers. How dare the Democrats say that things haven't improved in this regard?
