This Administration has taken less time and effort to liberate 50 million people in two countries than it took Clinton to handle a child custody case in Waco, Texas. Or illegally returning a Cuban refuge youth to his communist overseers.

If FNC wanted to show just how partisan this panel is, they'd be broadcasting it, save for the fact if people saw it, they might be interested in knowing just how one sided this committee is.

I bet it was George Soros who paid off Clarke. Soros said he would do anything to get Pres. Bush out of office.

"My bad. It should have gone to the dog guy. ;~))"
No problem.

"He didn't resign because he was too important."Clarke had his govt pension in mind - wanted maximum number of years of service - he hit the 30-year mark I believe
Fox News stated a little earlier that Clarke went for head of homeland security and then after not getting that position turned in his resignation.

I agree, this commission is an embarrassment to our country.
And Clarke has been allowed to make a mockery of the serious inquiry this commission is supposed to be conducting. Who is exploiting 9/11 now?

I know they will try, but note my post quoted the prognositicatoin of a pessimist and I stated the attempt will not succeed.
I do not want to be associated with such ill-founded whining.

Here's one of my thoughts on this...Condi Rice is one of President Bush's closest advisors and closest family friend. Does anyone here really believe that he is going to allow her to go down in flames due to RAT/media lies? I honestly don't think so. I think there is much more to come from the White House and from the President himself. The doom and gloomers around here always forget how this President operates. He let's the idiots talk and talk and talk and THEN he comes back hard. He did this in Texas and has done it as long as he has been President. I say we wait before we declare the Bush presidency dead and gone.

Pelosi is a two "face-lifted" scoundrel. : )
To: All
let's look at what the media is spinning away after today in their headlines:
CNN: Panel member challenges Clarke's credibility
MSNBC: 'Your goverrment failed you'
FOX: Clarke: Your government failed you
CBS: 'Your goverrment failed you'
ABC: "I'm not afraid'- new Hamas chief
NY Times: Bush Critic at Center of 9/11 Debate Testifies at Hearing-President Bush considered antiterrorism efforts important but not really "urgent," said Richard A. Clarke, who was his counterterrorism adviser.
Washington Post: Clarke: Terrorism Was Not Urgent for Bush
Yahoo news: Ex-Adviser: Terrorism Not Urgent for Bush

The only thing bad about the fact that noone may be interested is that the media can pick and choose which soundbites to use in order to give a slanted impression of what transpired.
