they were created out of whole cloth out of political necessity.

a season wherein that necessity existed, is drawing to it's close, but we still have a way to go.

after apparent Militant Islam is crushed... the leftovers will become moderate because they will be out of bullets, nailbombs, leaders and just too friggin tired to keep at it.

a moderate islamic, is one that is out of bullets, bombs and such.. so in that reference, eventually all islamics will be moderates... when they are decimated, that is.

Why are the "moderate Muslims" so utterly lacking in influence? Why are they so dominated all over the world by the Islamists? Why do even the majority of the "moderate Muslims" believe that they must continually criticize America? Why do the majority of Muslims have such a deep ignorance of America's actual founding and governing principles? Why do such a tiny fraction of Muslims believe in the disestablishment of religion? Why do so few Muslims understand how utterly technologically and politically backward their societies and governments are,with so few exceptions?
