Kerry 'Nam images = Bush 9/11 images?
Rush Limbaugh on-air

I was just listening to Rush Limbaugh, and he made a very interesting point. After the Bush campaign ran ads with images of 9/11, the Today show and other programs interviewed families of victims who were offended by the ads (of course, the Wall Street Journal later proved that all of these family members were antiwar organization members and Democratic Party loyalists, but that's besides the point). Limbaugh posed an interesting question though... now that Kerry has an ad of himself emerging from jungles of Vietnam during the Vietnam War, where hundreds of thousands of Americans died, do you think the Today show will interview families of those who lost relatives in Nam and are offended by the ads?
Rush's humble opinion (and mine): don't hold your breath.

56,000 died.
Sure they will. The Libs are always straight up and honest. They know what's best for us too.

where hundreds of thousands of Americans died,
This reminds me of a thread yesterday, (rightfully) taking to task an antiwar sign about "mutiny, mass killings of officers, and recruits refusing to board troop ships" ended that war.
I expect Socialists to distort, but I also expect Conservatives to be more accurate...especially with checkable facts.
It was well less than 100,000 dead; that is not the same as casualties

where hundreds of thousands of Americans died, ,
Where did you get that figure? I was to believe it was more like 58,000 or so

Well... see.... the thing is... there are no known photos of Kerry on 9/11 except for those where he is running for his Limo, or hunkering down under a desk, or talking on the phone, or covering up a pee stain....

it's not only that, recall Kerry considers himself a baby killer and our troops the equivalent of Ghengis Kahn.

Considering that Kerry was never in the jungle, ie; on the ground, but stationed on a swift boat in the Mekong Delta, he had best retract this ad.

... cont'd
So he goes to his 'Nam pictures, not the 9/11 photos.
Shouldn't we be demanding his actual itinerary from 9/11? What was John doing that tragic day?

Heck, Kerry has already used an ad (in Iowa) where he trumpets his Vietnam service as a "swift boat commander"....as we see him in full combat fatigues. This ad ran well before Bush's ad and the media never mentioned a thing about it.

Plus this footage is more likely from his Made for TV recreation rather than actual combat footage.

No doubt right alongside those 9/11 family members who thought the Bush ads were powerful and appropriate.

I'd like to know if the footage of Kerry in VN is a documented clip or is this some "staged" footage shot by the war criminal's subordinates.
IOW, is this footage of JF'n PRETENDING to be in combat?

There's millions of'em
(Kerry was in VN long enough to use up a regular size bottle of aspirin.)

He may have went into the edge of the jungle to see a man about a dog.

An interesting question that an unbiased press would ask John Kerry;
Mr Kerry, you had at least a small role in ensuring the victory of North Vietnam with your political efforts after returning to the US. According to established figures*, the Vietnamese Communists would go on to kill over one million people, and some estimates would put that figure at two and a half million. Do you feel in any way responsible for this death toll, and knowing what we know now, would you still have done everything in your power to help the North Vietnamese win the conflict?

Specifically those figures are for democide after the victory of NV. The numbers would be higher counting the period of the war of course. Democide also does not include war deaths.
To: swilhelm73
My apologies for the mistake with the numbers... I remember hearing Rush say "hundreds of thousands," but perhaps he said "casualties."
