Kennedy Stands By International Man Of Mystery

Kerry/Kennedy

KENNEDY STANDS BY
INTERNATIONAL
MAN OF MYSTERY

Massachusetts' No. 2 Says CIA Knows

Of Kerry's Foreign Leader Endorsements
__________________________________________________________

KENNEDY: FOREIGN LEADERS WHO ENDORSED KERRY NOT "BIG MYSTERY"

Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA) Says CIA Knows Which Foreign Leaders Have Endorsed Kerry. KENNEDY: "The fact is, he's obviously met leaders over a period of time. And everyone – the CIA knows who they – the White House is really interested in those leaders? They control the CIA – the CIA gives them those lists. Everyone knows at the United Nations where the country stands. Any child can look at the newspapers and television and look at what's happened in these demonstrations all over the world. This isn't a big mystery." (NBC's "Meet The Press," 3/21/04)

KENNEDY ON NBC MUST NOT HAVE SEEN KERRY ON CBS

Kennedy Supports Kerry Vote Against $87 Billion For Troops. KENNEDY: “This vote on the $87 billion … It was he and Joe Biden that have done it. If that had been passed on it, not only would we had up the difference in terms of the funding of the part, but we could have had a change in policy. We would have had a change in our direction of our policy.” (NBC’s “Meet The Press,” 3/21/04)

However, Senator Kerry Said He Wouldn’t Abandon Troops. KERRY: “I don’t think any United States senator is going to abandon our troops and recklessly leave Iraq to – to whatever follows as a result of simply cutting and running. That’s irresponsible. What is responsible is for the administration to do this properly now.” (CBS’ “Face The Nation,” 9/14/03)

Senator Kerry Said He Wouldn’t “Cut And Run” And Withhold Ammunition. KERRY: “I don’t think anyone in the Congress is going to not give our troops ammunition, not give our troops the ability to be able to defend themselves. We’re not going to cut and run and not do the job.” (CBS’ “Face The Nation,” 9/14/03)

KENNEDY MIMICS KERRY, INSULTS ALLIES
WHOSE TROOPS ARE RISKING THEIR LIVES IN IRAQ

Kerry Surrogate Kennedy Insults Our Allies In Iraq. RUSSERT: "But under John Kerry there would not be a withdrawal of United States troops. We are there for some time to come." KENNEDY: "Probably, probably, but I can tell you this – there would be a much greater participation of other countries around the world. This is laughable, this coalition." (NBC's "Meet The Press," 3/21/04)

Over Thirty Nations Have Troops In Iraq, Many More Contributing Humanitarian And Financial Assistance. RUMSFELD: "In Iraq alone, there are 34 or 35 countries with troops on the ground. There are many more countries that are contributing humanitarian assistance and financial assistance. I think the total international community has come up with something like $32 billion to assist the Iraqi people recover from the regime of Saddam Hussein." (CNN's "Late Edition, 3/14/04)

AT LEAST SOME PEOPLE AT HARVARD KNOW NCLB IS PROPERLY FUNDED

Kennedy Says No Child Left Behind Not Funded. KENNEDY:  "Don't ask me about the funding. Go to any school district, go to any school, talk to any superintendent whether it's adequate funding. And you'll find whether it's Virginia, the state of Utah, all across this country, people are finding this administration has failed. In a budget of $2.4 trillion, we couldn't get $8 billion to fund no child left behind?" (NBC's "Meet The Press," 3/21/04)Harvard Study Says Kennedy Is Wrong."The No Child Left Behind law is, intrinsically, an inexpensive school reform, a plan to get more bang from existing bucks, not a high-priced mandate. … Looking at 25 states, the Harvard University economist Caroline Hoxby found that the costs of accountability systems in place in the 2000-01 school year ranged from less than $2 per public school student in South Carolina to $34 per student in Delaware. Costs in the median state were just $15 per public school student. Meanwhile, average per-pupil costs in U.S. public schools now run approximately $10,000 a year. In short, the true costs of the No Child Left Behind Act are no more than 0.2 percent of the total cost of public schooling. Would that all unfunded mandates were so cheap. But if the mandate is cheap, the new federal bucks are plentiful. Historically, education has been a matter to be funded by state and local governments. But the federal role has been increasing rapidly under the Bush administration. Between 2000 and 2003, the U.S. Department of Education upped its contribution to elementary and secondary education by approximately $300 per pupil, from $23 billion to $36 billion dollars—15 times the cost of accountability." (Paul E. Peterson and Martin R. West, "The Contentious 'No Child' Law II: Money Has Not Been Left Behind," Education Week, 3/17/04)

Kennedy and Kerry -- are they worse then Clinton/Schumer or Feinstein/Boxer? They sure seem to be trying to get to the bottom of the food chain of rsponsible Senators.

Try reading that out loud. This man can't put a sentence together at all.

I understand that Kerry hasn't been overseas in years.

And what record is there of any foreign leader visiting Kerry while on a US trip?

Anyone know of even one?

Remember, when Rush had his television show, and he played that clip of Kennedy introducing Bubba, and he was running off at the mouth and spitting. No one could ever figure out what he was saying.

"Kennedy and Kerry -- are they worse then Clinton/Schumer or Feinstein/Boxer?"

At first I read that as K&K are worse than the other scumbags. But to answer - no all are equally poor excuses for politicians, are a danger to our country, are liars and cheats. I expect they are also, one way or another, on the receiving end in the Oil scandal. They are bottom feeders!!!!

They are all scum at the bottom of the barrel. They are all at the absolute bottom of the barrel, and there is absolutely nothing lower.

Every time I see that fat pus-bag, Kennedy, I think of what humanity would be if it devolved. He reminds me of the Morlocks, from the 60s "The Time Machine" film...

The alcohol vapors from Chapaquidick Teddy are so strong, no sparks or flames are allowed in the vicinity.

The RNC is doing a good job countering these charges.

Please, PhiKapMom, if you have an "in" with the people in charge - it is terribly important that the administration talks more about the links to terrorism that Iraq had. Salmon Pak. The terrorist who hid there after the first WTC bombing. Paying Palestinian terrorists.

The DNC is getting away with the talking point that there are no links to AQ or terrorism. It's false and it's provably false and support for the war will go even higher if people start hearing the Democrat's lies countered.

Are Kerry and Kennedy lovers?

Oh, ya they are, that's what I read on the internet, so it's true! I don't know for sure, but I did read it, so make up your own mind. But I did read about it. They meet every chance they get. The swimmer was really angry that Theresa was going to Idaho, he wanted to go.

Well, I guess we really should cut Kennedy some slack. I know I might turn out to be just as bitter if I had gone as long as Kennedy has, without being able to find my penis.

My understanding is that there are only a few he could have met any leader over the years. Most of the time he never would have been included in their schedule -- why would they meet with Kerry is what I would like to know. He was one of 100 Senators but Kennedy makes it sound like everyone wanted to see him. Unbelieveable.
