efending Sen. John Kerry against charges he fabricated claims of meetings with foreign leaders who offered their political support, Sen. Ted Kennedy said Sunday that the Central Intelligence Agency will verify Kerry's account.
Asked to identify the leaders Kerry met with, Kennedy told NBC's "Meet the Press": "The CIA knows it. They work for the president. They can give him the names of all of those countries."
Kennedy complained that the White House still hasn't identified the members of Vice President Dick Cheney's Energy Task Force or the White House official who leaked the name of CIA employee Valerie Plame.
But when pressed on Kerry's alleged meetings with foreign leaders, Kennedy reiterated the claim that the CIA will back his account up.
"He's obviously - he's met leaders over a period of time," he told "Meet the Press." "And anyone - the CIA knows who they - if the White House is really interested in those leaders, they control the CIA, the CIA gives them those lists."

Maybe. It all depends upon how much alcohol is stored in his ever-growing fat cells. As it is now, he could fast for a year and live off of his blubber. Maybe we should send him to Canada where some Eskimoes may mistake him for a seal...

Actually, it would not be out of the question for ol' Ted to just open his mouth before engaging his brain. How many times has he made inco, prehensible speeches in the last ten years? The man pickled his brain long ago. This is not a personal attack per se; it is just a fact that anyone who guzzles that much booze is going to have something go wrong in the "logical reasoning" department.

I think people should read this article to find out where all this was really coming from:
Kerrys Soviet Rhetoric (The Vietnam-era antiwar movement got its spin from the Kremlin) (Repost) by Ion Mihai Pacepa
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1102601/posts Pacepa was the spy-chief of Romania at the time, and he said in the article:
"As a spy chief and a general in the former Soviet satellite of Romania, I produced the very same vitriol Kerry repeated to the U.S. Congress almost word for word and planted it in leftist movements throughout Europe. KGB chairman Yuri Andropov managed our anti-Vietnam War operation. He often bragged about having damaged the U.S. foreign-policy consensus, poisoned domestic debate in the U.S., and built a credibility gap between America and European public opinion through our disinformation operations. Vietnam was, he once told me, "our most significant success."

Thanks. But I think Mr. Quaddafi and Mr. Kim are on the MIDDLE row, not the bottom. Who are the two gentlemen on the BOTTOM row, on either side of Mr. Arafat? Thanks.

I believe rudy45 was referring to the picture in
post #33 .
IIRC
The man on the bottom left is Assad, from Syria.
The man on the bottom right is Chavez, from Venezuela.
