Defending Sen. John Kerry against charges he fabricated claims of meetings with foreign leaders who offered their political support, Sen. Ted Kennedy said Sunday that the Central Intelligence Agency will verify Kerry's account.
Asked to identify the leaders Kerry met with, Kennedy told NBC's "Meet the Press," "The CIA knows it . They work for the president. They can give him the names of all of those countries."
Kennedy complained that the White House still hasn't identified the members of Vice President Dick Cheney's Energy task Force, or the White House official who leaked the name of CIA employee Valerie Plame.
But when pressed on Kerry's alleged meetings with foreign leaders, Kennedy reiterated the claim that the CIA will back his account up.
"He's obviously - he's met leaders over a period of time," he told "Meet the Press." "And anyone - the CIA knows who they - if the White House is really interested in those leaders, they control the CIA, the CIA gives them those lists."

He did not! ;-)I agree.. I won't believe that Kerry met with Kim Il-Jong and got his endorsement until Kerry signs an affidavit to that effect.

It is not just the president who wants to know who Kerry talked to. Maybe Kerry should authorize his FBI file to be released. There's probably a lot of other interesting information in it as well.

So what did Kerry know about Oil For Food, and when did he know it?
To: wasp69
Call me whacky but doesn't this strike any of you as a little odd? So many flipflops that Kerry's about to turn himself inside out; Teddy saying the CIA will buttress the Kerry/foreign leader claim, which only can hurt JFK in the long run - yep, it's odd, but I can't help but wonder how this all may help the Hildebeaste.

What did Hillie know about Oil For Food, and when did she know it?

Wow, if what ole boozerbub says is true then it sounds like Kerry is organizing a coup with foreign leaders to overthrow Pres Bush. Is that allowed during an election year?

Kerry isn't fit to hold any office and should be recalled from the Senate immediately. I don't care who he thinks he is but going behind an acting President in a time of war to solidify support for the Presidents removal is beyond all comprehension. Kerry has demonstrated that he does not have any integrity or character what so ever and to me he is a traitor to the United States. God help us all if this asshole gets elected.

Now there is a funny picture...
*Kerry sits down with a nice big bowl of corn flakes the day after falling uh...sliding...er..being tripped by that SOB.
He turns on the TV to see whats up with the world today, and the first thing he sees is Teddy the Hutt talking about Kerry and the CIA in the same sentence. Corn Flakes fly everywhere.....shorting out the TV and covering Tereza.
John: "THAT FAT @#%$#@ $%#&*^ PIECE OF *&#^, i CAN'T BELIVE HIS !#* WOULD GO ON NATIONAL @*$^@^$ TV AND SAY THAT @*$&..."
Tereza: "YOU *#&$*&^ MORON YOU RUINED THE #*$ #@*$#& TV AND GOT (#*&#&$ CORN FLAKES ALL OVER ME!!!"
ahh yes...just another average day in the Heinz/Kerry house...

Ok then, call his bluff. If Kerry did meet with leaders without the president's or White House's knowledge then he should be brought up on charges of espionage.

This seemed funny to me at first. But now I'm feeling a strange desire to wear tinfoil.
The coverup is stranger than the lie. Was it 'foreign' leaders or 'more' leaders? I thought Frankin-scary cleared it up with leaders 'at various levels around the globe'. That means foreign leaders, foreign sub-leaders, etc. Then the reporter clears up the 'clear-up', saying it was a transcript error. "No it was 'more' leaders. Kerry didn't lie." Too late. He already did. Then Kerry follows the reporter's lead and flip-flops. A complete denial. Now Kennedy is saying that the CIA can, [hiccup], clear it all up. Anyone trying to assume that Kerry is honest must be getting dizzy at this point. But as Kerry said-- it's none of our business, especially if we voted for George Bush. However, if Kerry is telling lies about meeting foreign leaders, and if Teddy the Swimmer says that the CIA can confirm that he was trying to cover it up, we are on the verge of needing an investigation to see if any improper visits with foreign leaders have been made.
FReegards....
