Welcome, everyone to the 10th Troop Prayer Thread! Today is the anniversary of the resumption of hostilities with Iraq, wherein our troops have made military history that shall ring down the centuries.
The troop prayer threads are dedicated to giving our troops, allies, and all who are serving the Holy Cause of Freedom, including (but not limited to) the families and loved ones waiting at home and those who are not in uniform but who are serving in dangerous situations supporting our troops and gathering intelligence spiritual support. We seek together to offer prayer, scriptures, encouraging messages, and other devotions dedicated to this purpose.
We have over the past year gathered together a prayer list of these servants of freedom. You will find it posted below. FReeper amom has been serving as our List Keeper this past year and I wish to thank and commend her for doing such a meticulous job of keeping it updated. She has also been keeping our ping list up to date. If you wish to submit a name for the prayer list or to add or take off a name from the ping list, please let either or both of us know.
For those of us who have somewhat limited computer capacity, or still have phone modems, we request that graphics be limited to pictures of loved ones for whom we are offering prayers, special visuals that seem particularly appropriate, and as much as possible, non-moving graphics. Thank you.
Thank you so much for spiritually supporting our troops, allies, support civilians, and their families.
We are grateful to God that for those who have been injured or taken back Home, He has dispatched angels to their care.

Thank you, TEXOKIE for all your support for our troops. As I said before, it is so obvious that this thread is a labor of love and I feel God will honor it.
Praying daily for all our troops, our President and the Iraqi and Afghani people in this transition in their lives and their longing to have what we take for granted and what our brave men and women die fight for... freedom!

Merciful Father,
We place before you our own Cheney Chick, her buddies and all our troops who are guarding the birth of self-government in Afghanistan and Iraq. Father, we cry out to you today to protect them and to protect Freedom on this planet.
We have heard of an organized effort on the part of leftist thugs who have even assaulted the Bush campaign headquarters in various locales. Intercede in this entire thrashing about of the dragon's tail as it sees Freedom expanding throughout the earth and would seek to destroy it in the very cradle. America is the cradle of self-governance, and she is serving as mid-wife to two infants being birthed in these present days. Therefore, the forces which oppose Freedom are arrayed against a trinity of Light being held. Father, protect our precious troops. Protect the office, mantle, and person of the President of the United States of America. Protect the people who are standing up to intimidation in these three nations. Protect the electorate, and the candidates which have your own approval. Father, we beseech you to oversee and guard the whole process of these three elections taking place.
In addition to the above, Father, enter in to the elections taking place in our beloved ally Australia. Take command and grant the electorate of that nation a clear Vision of the path you would have them follow.
Father, we place all of this upon the altar and we trust and are grateful that only your divine Will can and shall be done. In the name of our Lord and Savior, we claim the earth in His Name, for 'the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof!'

Fellow Prayer Warrior Davey Crockett has brought to our attention that troops may be sent free religious material from Dr. Charles Stanley of In Touch Ministries. Davey Crockett stated:
