thank you for this thread...

Mansoor's a good guy, and all, but he also said that we were only weeks away from getting Osama well over a YEAR ago. So I'm a bit hesitant to start celebrating, just yet.

Did anyone hear Fox news say something about breaking news coming out of London a few minutes ago? Maybe some big things are gonna happen today? Hopefully good stuff.

No... not that he would be on the air in the hour... but that he would be getting more info, later. Apparently this info is about fifteen minutes new? That's my guess from his description.

Missed that. Could you tell from the tenor whether it was good news or bad?

The media is all ready for this. They've been pushing the line that "even if we get Bin Laden himself, it won't be worth anything because his successors have already been groomed." They've been putting this out for the past three days.
There are plenty who know the truth, though. I think his days are numbered.
Remember how, just before we got Saddam, there were these little stories about things like how he had been calling his wife in Syria, even including details of what they'd been talking about? Look for that sort of thing to happen just before we get OBL too.

Well, I'm an optimist. I'm warmin' up my happy dance just in case :)

I thought it was the info from those phone calls that Saddam made to his wife, that lead to his capture?

I know Mansoor is considered to be a good source. By whom?
As far as I'm concerned, Mansoor Ijaz is about 0 for 900 over the last couple of years when it comes to his analysis and predictions.
