just in time to see Mr. Kerry taken out by one of the Secret Service men, who had inadvertently moved into his path, sending him into the snow. When asked about the mishap a moment later, he said sharply, "I don't fall down," then used an expletive to describe the agent who "knocked me over." Maybe he should hire Chelsea Clintoon to help him 'train his pigs' better, and maybe consult with her mother for additional vulgar language. :-/

Unreal...the secret service agent is just doing his job and Kerry uses an expletive to describe the him?

When asked about the mishap a moment later, he said sharply, "I don't fall down," then used an expletive to describe the agent who "knocked me over."The incident occurred near the summit. No one was hurt, and Mr. Kerry came careering down the mountain moments later, a look of intensity on his face, his lanky frame bent low to the ground.
Ms. Heinz Kerry, for her part, stuck to a pair of skis and was taking her time down the slope, accompanied by two old friends, one a former Olympian, the other a ski school instructor.
"I'm going tentatively, but prettily," she said, wearing tight black pants and a flaming red jacket.
They parody themselves...this is just too easy!

"indoor John and outdoor John" Well, last time I checked, an outdoor john was called an "outhouse". A nickname is born.

he has had to defend himself from the onslaught of attacks by President Bush and millions of dollars in negative advertising, while taking criticism for calling Republicans "crooked" and "lying" Loved this ironic jab!

That's not a very nice thing to say to someone who's job it is to jump in front of bullets.

" Several Democrats and Kerry aides said some of his missteps were a result of exhaustion "
So the riggers of campaigning have frazzled the man so much he can't rationally reply or remember his own core positions? This from the people closest to him?
Yeah this guys real presidential material.

I bet the Secret Service is recalling their days of being treated like serfs by the Clintons - and see exactly the same attitude from the Heinzes.

the rebellious teenagers tend to be "hard-core vegans," said Barrett Cincotta, 13. "Everyone in this town is anti-Bush," Barrett, a Junior Olympic skier, said between runs. "He's trying to destroy our planet."
I see J Al Qerry has the kook vote as well as the foreign anti-American vote, and the terrorist preference....

I thought the whole thing was from the Onion or something, I'm shocked to see it's from the NYT--hilarious!
Definitely mocking Kerry. And very funny. ;-D

Any rational person in Kerry's position would treat his SS protection the way a smart quarterback treats his offensive line: Nicely. I think he's had this "to the manor born" attitude practically from birth and it is one of the reasons he's generally despised by his fellow senators.
