***Breaking*** Kerry Continued to Represent the VVAW after November, 1971

March 19, 2004 -- **BREAKING** WinterSoldier.com has obtained solid evidence that John Kerry continued to represent the VVAW well after the infamous November 12-15 1971 meeting at which that organization voted on whether to commit political assassinations. See our new "So when did John Kerry leave the VVAW, anyway?" links in the Documents, Film Clips, Audio and Cartoons section.

For example, the New York Times identified Kerry as "spokesman for Vietnam Veterans Against the War" in this article on January 11, 1972. In fact, as late as April 22, 1972, Kerry was still being identified in press reports as a "leader of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War."

Senator Kerry says he quit the VVAW sometime before November 12, 1971.

Senator Kerry has some explaining to do.

>>Senator Kerry's comment:
"I actually voted for the resolution before I voted against it."

That's really good. I think the line "I actually voted for the resolution before I voted against it." will have legs.
It's one for the ages, like "I didn't inhale".

For example, the New York Times identified Kerry as "spokesman for Vietnam Veterans Against the War" in this article on January 11, 1972.

OK, read the linked NY Times article. It is referencing this speech Kerry gave at Dartmouth. There was a thread on it the other night:

In '72 speech, a different kind of Kerry. (** Criticized Nixon for seeking early return of POWs!!**)

EXCERPT:

In his 1972 speech, Kerry lashed at then-President Richard Nixon, claiming that he was personally responsible for over 130,000 Vietnam casualties a month, although Kerry also predicted reelection. He also criticized Nixon for trying to request the return of prisoners of war before the war ended. Ironically, Kerry has worked with Arizona Sen. John McCain on lingering Vietnam POW/MIA issues during their time in the Senate.

I want to read more about this speech.

In an earlier thread, comment was made about a Kerry interview with Dick Cavett (about 1972, IIRC). That interview tape has been unavailable. Based on the tone of the comments, that interview much be explosive.

Someone else posted that CSPAN is supposed to play that tape on Sunday.

FWIW (for what it's worth)

Tom said he has 8 witnesses to Kerry's being in KC and at the 'kill the Senators' meeting.

Meanwhile Qerry is recharging his batteries.

Tom [Lipscomb] said he has 8 witnesses to Kerry's being in KC and at the 'kill the Senators' meeting.

I saw the chief mucky-muck of the NY Sun (it might have been Tom Lipscomb--don't recall the name) on Fox last weekend talking about the Kerry-assasination connection. At the time, there were 3 confirmed witnesses. Now he has 8.

Kerry's going down like a cheap hooker.

This is truly a big story. I can count virtually every news value in this story and any journalist not covering this is doing so for only one reason: BIAS.

Especially in the wake of the disgraceful hammering the "news" gave George W. Bush and his Air National Guard service all because some "questions" had been raised. Well, we've raised some questions here that we as Americans want answers to.

Frankly I am stunned that this group planned this at all, and that aspect has been nailed down as absolutely true. The question before us is did Kerry attend and has he flat out lied all of these years?

It is truly breathtaking.
