Democrats don't believe the first item.

In their spin, we actually made the world more dangerous by taking out Saddam.

"a final judgment on the value of activities in Iraq cannot be made until Iraq is stable and secure."

a final judgment on the value of Clinton's Kosovo policy is being made at this very moment

The headline said "93 Reps" against it; I thought they meant Republicans.

Republicans should not get trapped in the bogus argument about whether the world is a safer place now than it was a year ago or three years ago. The world is NOT a safer place, and won't be, until the terrorists are utterly routed, and we are far from having achieved that. The world was not a safer place in 1942 than it was in 1940, and did not become safer until the Japanese and Nazis were finally defeated. All we can say is that we are CLOSER to making the world a safer place than we were three years ago, but that the war is still going on.

Me too! That shocked me. I'm better now.

The Dems are grandstanding, trying to undermine a positive message about Iraq. I hope it backfires on 'em.

"Republicans should not get trapped in the bogus argument about whether the world is a safer place now than it was a year ago or three years ago."

Excellent point! The Dems want to keep us on the defensive with an ill-timed debate.

And let's not forget about that great "conservative" Ron Paul, right there with them.

Looks like the CBC came out in full force AGAINST the war.

Not only the CBC, but the entire CA BayArea Dems voted against praising the Troops as well -- but that is just par for the course.
