Dear Freepers,
A fellow Freeper alerted me to another discussion board, wherein the leftist/deviants are advising one another to register at Free Republic in order to pose as Christians, with the purpose of promoting homosexuality in a subversive manner, thereby disrupting Free Republic.
Here are a few comments, just so that you will be on the alert for this sort of thing: (if I may be so bold):
I'm a troll on a Freeper board by: anonymous 32 03/17/2004 @ 06:09PM
Hey....I've never done it but stumbled across a conservative board and created a character of a right-wing intolerant born-again Christian zealot. It's amazing how many people love me there. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. You create a character which you believe is preposterous and find out there are 100's out there like it. Use words like Rosie in an abomination and the posts of approval you get. I'm trying to figure out if somehow I can turn this into a good thing.

LOL that's crazy OP (j/k)
RE: I'm a troll on a Freeper board by: anonymous 03/17/2004 @ 06:11PM
easy... just string them along for a few months, then let loose and tell them how you REALLY feel! Of course you'll be banned immediately, but with any luck you'll create so much mistrust among them that the board will fall apart. Good luck!
RE: I'm a troll on a Freeper board by: anonymous 03/17/2004 @ 06:13PM
Use your persona to ask how you as a Christian can reconcile hating gays with eating shrimp, per Leviticus.
RE: I'm a troll on a Freeper board by: anonymous 03/17/2004 @ 06:13PM
Nah, you get them to like you and know you, and then you start injecting some common sense here and there, like how you just cannot support government intrusiveness into the bedroom, and how it's just Democrat-like "Big Government" to think the government should solve all the social problems, and to just let the market decide, and that no churches would ever or should ever be compelled to perform gay marriages, but that you believe in freedom of religion in this country as a founding principle, so people should be able to choose to burn in hell or not, and that Bush shouldn't be forcing that choice on them. Stuff like that. I'm sure you can figure out a way to slowly, subtly get some stuff in there. Lots of good fodder in the whole budget big-government thing too.

Start raging about sodomites and anal sex like they do, and gradually make it sound more and more erotic.
RE: I'm a troll on a Freeper board by: anonymous 03/17/2004 @ 06:14PM
6:11's idea is good, plus waiting will give you time to get used to how the board is moderated, and when would be the optimum time to reveal your true self when you don't expect any deleting moderators around for a while.

I'm on my 2nd subversive character at Lucianne.com It's fun in a way, but I can only take those people in small doses. They really are toxic.

I don't pose as a right-wing intolerant born-again Christian zealot, I don't play one on TV, and I'm not one in real life either.

Why aren't we smart enough to do some reverse-Moby activities ourselves? Can anyone start a list of leftwing sites like FR that we can then infiltrate as moderate Dims and then as the election grows closer start indicating that we're voting Republican because Kerry is just so awful?

Excellent comments.

I'm not one in real life either. Do you really want to spend your precious human life (over in a flash, really) hassling me for no reason?

No reason. I thought your post was hilarious and ironic. Nice to see you have developed a sense of humor. When you start to occupy a significant part of my life, I will kill myself.

Thank you. Because many groups like homosexuals cannot abide what the Bible says about their sin, they try to create "straw men" about what it says and then proceed to tear this up. They never understand what is really is saying.
Another "straw man" they set up is the one about "Christians" hating them. I personnally don't hate homosexuals any more than I hate adulterers, etc. So, if I was going lynch a homosexual I would have to lynch the adulterer also. Obviously, I would be spending all my time lynching people. I don't have the inclination, or time, to do this, and I won't be inconsistent by just singling out the homosexual.
However, I will not back down in saying that their behavior is sin, and serious sin. BTW adultery is serious sin also. Actually, to be "consistent", any extra marital sex is serious sin. This is something people don't want to hear. Now, I would guess that will make some say.."he has gone from preaching to meddling." :-)

How much do you wanna bet they're typing with one hand when they do this sort of thing....

Those who protest loudest have the strongest pangs of self-conviction.
The turning point in my life was when I recognized myself in sermons rather than trying to justify myself against them.
The truth does hurt.
What do you about that pain is what counts.
To: little jeremiah
I remember recently noticing that someone on FR seemed to be more like a caricature of a conservative Christian she claimed to be, than a real one. I suspected a troll, I bet I am right -- what you posted, confirms it.
I don't remember her screen name, so I can't check her recent messages.
Others seemed to have accepted her as genuine, and I wasn't interested enough to follow her post, beyond the first few I happened to see.

Those bloody fools have such a narrow view of Republicans in general -- and FReepers in particular -- that they don't realize that there already are some non-trolls, who already believe that... like me for example.
And before anyone suggests I am a troll, if I am, I'm doing well to have kept it up since November 2000.

Of course, there are some conservatives who've given the subject some thought and happen to disagree with your views on the topic. They (should I say, I) are not trolls or disruptors. It is fairly disturbing to see how some people here excoriate gays with such vitriole. It may be useful some time to step back and take an objective look. Sure looks pretty ugly.

Here's a newsflash for you, fellas: You are going to need a lot of "luck" to pull that one off. Besides which, some unnamed foreign leaders already have told me they really like FR. Maybe when trolls appear, we should have some of our Vietnam veterans respond and tell them they are not allowed to comment on anything... or should we demand their voting records before we can respond to any questions? The consolation, of course, is that such juvenile minds aren't likely to cause any lasting damage....
To: little jeremiah
And your point is...?Sometimes you do not need a point..jeremiah..just give a laugh. Then get back to being serious once again. ;)
