The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic invites all FReepers and lurkers in good standing to join us next Thursday evening, March 25 for a mega-freep of a huge Democratic Party fundraiser featuring former Presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter.

Please join Chairman Terence R. McAuliffe, Treasurer Andrew Tobias, and Finance Chair Maureen White for Democrats United, a dinner honoring President Jimmy Carter, President Bill Clinton, and the Democratic candidates for President, and benefiting the DNC's 2004 Presidential Fund.

G Street entrance, between 4th & 5th Streets, NW Washington, DC
Thursday, March 25, 2004
6:00 pm Reception
7:00 pm Dinner

We have obtained a permit for the sidewalk on the 400 block of G Street, NW in front of the building.

Time: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Bring: Signs about your least favorite 'Rats. It starts getting dark after 6 p.m., so factor your sign design for low light conditions.

As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no racism, no profanity, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

The closest Metro station is Judiciary Square. Exit on the National Police Memorial side. That will put you out on the back of the National Building Museum.

Great idea. One slight correction, the RATs prefer limos or Cadillac Escalades to ordinary blue-collar Chevys or Fords. Terry McAwful always takes great pains to inform us that he spent $10K maybe it was a $100K to add polution and other environmentally correct equipment to his Escalade. I don't know if we had to pay to have upgraded Daschle's Escalade or not. KKK Bobby Byrd will be arriving by publicly funded limo.
