Spain's New Prime Minister: 'I Want Kerry to Win' (New Article)

I have long maintained that the struggle against the global jihad is a struggle for human rights, and should be beyond partisan considerations. Right and Left both have ample reasons to support it. But with CNN only now dimly realizing that there is an ideological component to the conflict, and Spain caving in to jihadist bullying, it seems that most people are still largely ignorant of what kind of war we're in. That's why it's all the more significant that Spain's new Prime Appeaser-elect has endorsed one of the candidates in America's election. From NewsMax:
Socialist leader Jose Luis Rodriquez Zapatero, who won an upset election victory over Spain's Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar on Sunday on a platform of withdrawing Spain's troops from Iraq, has endorsed Sen. John Kerry in the upcoming presidential election. "I think Kerry will win. I want Kerry to win," Zapatero told Britain's Guardian newspaper, just four days before he swept to victory riding a wave of anti-U.S. feeling sparked by the al Qaeda train bombings in Madrid.
Two days earlier Zapatero had blasted Aznar's alliance with the U.S., calling the Bush administration "the most reactionary American administration in recent times."
"We're aligning ourselves with Kerry," Zapatero proclaimed to the International Herald Tribune. "Our alliance will be for peace, against war, no more deaths for oil, and for a dialogue between the government of Spain and the new Kerry administration."

"Our alliance will be for peace, against war..." Well, next November we'll just have a simple ballot:
Choose One: / / Peace / / War
Winner takes all. Issue settled.

The voters of Spain have every right to choose capitulation with terrorists.
The new PM has every right to pull Spanish troops out of Iraq.
What he does not have is the right to come to America and campaign for Kerry.
Hasn't anybody mentioned to him that Hillary wants to be president in 2008?
I wouldn't share an airplane ride with him for all the pineapple in Hawaii.

Oh, but it would so deliciously backfire if he did come!!!!
As Kerry says (copying our Commander in Chief), Bring It On!

From Roger L Simon:
Doofus Alert!
According to The Guardian Spain's newly-minted Prime Minister Zapatero has wasted no time in making his presence felt. He's already called the British Prime Minister and the US President liars:
"Mr Blair and Mr Bush must do some reflection _ you can't organise a war with lies," he said in his first radio interview after ousting the ruling conservative People's party in a Sunday election dominated by the terror attacks on trains that killed 200 Madrid commuters last week.
Not cool, Senor Zapatero. You don't have to be a rocket scientist (scientifico de los cohetes?) to know when assuming office you avoid immediately and directly insulting the leaders of two nations who are supposed to be your allies (and more powerful ones at that), no matter what you might think. You don't have to do that to make your points. You use a little diplomatic savoir faire for a few weeks at least, unless of course you want to harm your own country politically and economically... Oh, well, it seems Al Qaeda got double for its money--a new prime minister and a nitwit.
