"The Kerry PR machine, (the national media) takes one for Kerry."

"The Kerry PR machine, (the national media) takes one for Kerry."

Please, don’t insult our intelligence!

Just what is going on with the national, liberal media? Are there some so determined to see their guy John F. Kerry president, they will do anything short of selling their soul?

With only a few addressing the recent Kerry-induced, faux pas, yet fewer reporters grudgingly going there, certainly many may have not heard the scoop. Just what did Kerry say to whom? Why be concerned?

Kerry told his supporters, foreign leaders were pulling for him. Numerous national media outlets quoted him saying, “I’ve met foreign leaders who can’t go out and say this publicly, but boy they look at you and say, ‘You’ve got to win this, you’ve got to beat this guy, we need a new policy,’ things like that.”

John F. Kerry’s political controversy gained legs, as Republicans and Bush administration voices, began to show an interest in which leaders he was referencing. They demanded he give either names or move on. If true, many wondered why he would participate in such bizarre actions that could undermine the administration and military, especially during time of war. Others started to question Kerry’s integrity and point jokingly to leaders assumed to back this liberal socialist. To make matters worse, Kerry did a “Howard Dean” attacking a questioner that dared ask him about the political storm. In addition, Kerry being Kerry, just couldn’t help himself, he continued his talking points, extending them to include foreign, business leaders as well.

The real problem came when reporters decided to find through records, where John F. Kerry may have had face time, with any foreign leader. How interesting, nothing found that established his statement to be true.

Think it couldn’t get any more curious? Well, think again. Just as many were beginning to hear the noise, a reporter from Kerry’s state found it necessary to tell that somehow, he got it wrong; actually, Kerry did not say foreign leaders, rather more leaders.

Could this be another “Jayson Blair” factor in progress? What in the world would make a professional suggest that he had added different words or subtracted them, just as controversy began to take its toll, on their paper’s “native son”?

“Screwed up,” the Boston Globe reporter stated. Really, how say you? Was it the word he chose to place in the article, or the word he wished he had not placed, due to obvious reasons?

Hopefully, sorrow has hit this reporter, as his conscience notes his desired bamboozle of the public, all in the name of Kerry.

In such serious times as this, Americans must remember, Kerry has boasted of his “internationalist” leanings. Just what does that mean? Socialist, communist, what word truly defines this man?

Why should anyone care about truth regarding one word or another? You tell me.

Actually, Shelley, the change made only makes it seem stranger. It doesn't clear it up for Kerry at all.

Unfortunately I can't remember the exact word substitution, but the next freeper will, I'm sure!

As another Freeper observed, this election is between the media and the President, not between Kerry and the President.

To make matters worse, Kerry did a “Howard Dean” attacking a questioner that dared ask him about the political storm.

I was so ticked when I heard the replay of this. When Kerry told the guy that it was "none of your business" and asked "are you a Republican", I lost it. He wants to be president of the United States but he believes that doesn't owe HALF the population an answer to anything!

Being from the Peoples Republic of Taxachusetts.the Boston Globe has been the getaway car for more leftist than Peter Jennings or Dan Blather and is more of a democrat news letter than the NY Times if thats possible...you might see somthing in the Globe like."World ends Tommorow! Woman and Minorities to be hardest hit."

The election is not only Bush versus the media, but IMO, Bush versus Kerry/Media. This year their blatant strategy is more deceptive and dangerous that ever before.

I am with you. If Kerry keeps up his playing to his base, the hate vote against Kerry from the right may be as intense as that from the hate Bush vote from the left.

Most interestingly, Kerry himself has not denied "foreign" leaders. In his last denial, Kerry simply denied having said "met with", saying he really meant "heard from." Kerry didn't deny having said "foreign" leaders. He will now, though.

Last night, one of the cable channels showed Kerry giving a really pompous speech about getting to the truth. I don't remember the specific subject but it had something to do with some administration file that had not been made public.

His words were beautiful because they perfectly covered his refusal to open up the file on his fake Nam medals and service. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, would you bookmark Kerry's words because we'll (ceratianly, not the media) will be able to throw them back at him every time he tries to hide something from his shadey past.

LOL, that was the type of humor I needed to read this morning. After all the junk that has come out lately concerning Kerry and his creeps, a lighter moment much appreciated. Thanks.

I find it interesting that in the past, Kerry has boasted of being an "internationalist" not a liberal, or democrat.

Any voter that thinks Kerry has this country's welfare in mind is delusional.

You are right. Most from the left would sell their soul. Come to think of it, they probably already have.

That explains it all. They certainly know how to pick their reporters, don't they?
