Doubts about whether he will be re-elected or doubts about whether he will personally support him?

Not my style. I have no thoughts on Gibson's political leanings. As I said, he's entitled to his opinion so long as he doesn't get nasty.

I remember reading that Gibson's production company financed Michael Moore's "Farenheit 9/11"Interesting. I recall reading that they considered it at one time and ultimately turned it down.

"After making millions upon millions of dollars from likely Bush supporters, he turns on them?" TURNS on them? Gibson made a movie that people are free to see or not see as they see fit. It wouldn't matter if he voted for GWB, Kerry, or Lyndon LaRouche.

Those lines are from
Braveheart, not
The Patriot.
But your point is well taken.

I'm not turning on Mel. Just disappointed to hear him make an announcement like this on the public airwaves.

Despite the opinion of you and many other FReepers, one thing has absolutely nothing to do with the other.

Some pro-war freepers have a habit of turning former heroes into villians at the drop of a hat. As an anti-war freeper, I always liked the Passion regardless of Mel's views on the issue. I must admit that I happy, however, that he apparently had the good sense to be on my side!

This is an hour long interview. That's a lot of talking. And during this time you expect that Gibson will concur with Bush on
everything? How many of you guys have absolutely
no qualms or criticisms about anything which Bush has said or done?
I bet Gibson has a lot of common ground with Bush but has his reservations about certain things, including WMD, or should I say their absence. And I'd agree with him.
This is a Drudge "beat up".

Mel is an actor.

Same here. If Saddam didn't have them, our intelligence said he did then where are they, or even scarier WHO has them?

Mel, your remarks disappoint me. Thought you were a bigger man than fall for the tricks of the left.
