I guess Gibson would much rather have 100% pro-abortion, pro-homosexual Catholic  John Forbes Kerry with his Communist wife as his president and first lady? I will have to see the full interview before I say any more.

Nah. They hate Jesus more than they hate Bush.

I’d like to hear/read the entire interview. But assuming the tidbit posted here is true, I can’t blame Mel. I had, and still have, some doubts about the WMD claims. That doesn’t mean I don’t support President Bush in the war on terrorism.

MEL GIBSON: 'HAVING DOUBTS' ABOUT BUSH

Your title is unfair and casting false aspersions on Mr. Gibson attempting to make the assumption that Gibson does not support our President. Furthermore, you are taking his comments totally out of context especially since you/I have not yet seen the interview!

When the h*ll are wimpy conservatives going to stop falling for the Delphi Technique?

Yea, your method is working like a charm...Even Mel Gibson still has questions...

Bush has YET come on tv, bully pulpit style behind his oval office desk explaining the situation to the America that doenst sift through mountains of FR threads. Thats what I mean by getting on tv. I had to sit through Clinton pointing his finger at me saying he didnt have sex with that woman, Ms Lewinsky. Can't my President come on in the white house point his finger at the UN and say we do not need them for permission to take care of unfinished business?

I have no problems that there isnt WMD (thus far). The case for war wasnt that we knew Saddam had them and where. The reason was that we have intelligence suggesting he still had them (as there was no intelligence that he destroyed them) but didnt know how much or where. Now that we find he had next to nothing in obvious places the logical assumption is that his ego got the best of him and that always does in evil. Pride always ends the evil man. And Mel Gibson is hardly a pinko commie liberal... If Mel is having a little problem then the problem needs to be addressed because he hardly wants a Kerry presidency.

Everyone needs to calm down. WABC here in New York played a teaser of the interview. In it, Sean asks Mel if he has generally supported Bush and Mel says yes that he does but that he is troubled by the inability to find WMD so far. That's a bit different than everyone on this thread asking for their money back on the Passion.

He will have to be excused for that, and one must quiety explain our culture of digging in and fighting for our country until the death.

Nope, knows nothing about America's will... [ahem]

KKK actually and actively killed in the name of, it is no straw man. Thier warped interpretation of "Christianity" justified murder.

It is not an option to consider this a holy war.

If I am wrong, it does not matter.
We will be in an endless war.

It is the same God, after all.
It is men's words that are in error.

That this is not a war against Islam is a wise policy,
the only thinkable possibility.

Truth is revealed to the sincere heart.
This is my faith.

I agree that we have an apparently insolvable difference of opinion on this subject.

I suggested Mel's comments about Bush have more to do with Kerry being Catholic than anything else. Pointed out Mel would prefer a Catholic to Evangelical like Bush and that Mel's next movie is going to be about the Reformation and won't be friendly.

Got accused of being pro or anti Catholic. Neither one, and I think my question is a damn good one if I do say so.

This is Drudge helping out Hannity to pump up ratings for the interview, nothing more.

I'm thinking the same...its working on me as I will be sure to listen to the interview when aired! I'm so easy.....LOL.

If he is having doubts what is wrong with that? I think it makes him a better conservatives TO HAVE DOUBTs. We need to question our leaders.

Good point, merry10...as long as the doubts are reasonable and arguable. Healthy debate; healthy political landscape. JMHO.

We have nothing to debate with the socialist/liberal/stinking commies. Period! To engage in debate on this is to play on the enemy's field -- and according to their rules.

Correct...you cannot have a healthy debate with them. They are playing dumb to force Bush into being prodded to explain something he has already explained quite clearly. They are wearing this ploy out but for people who don't follow the landscape, it works. Unfortunately...

Very well said. I think if Pres. Bush speaks directly, and from his heart, about why we went into Iraq, even those who might disagree will give him the benefit of the doubt.

For too long, the Democrats have been able to set the terms of the debate.

He has done as you suggest but there are people who are insistent (for various reasons) not to give him the benefit of the doubt and never will. They are the ones who drag the undecideds over into the D column. I agree the D's set the terms...why aren't we savvy enough to break that streak and make it our own?

Brokaw and Imus were pushing the idea on the radio this morning that President Bush should APOLOGISE to America.

That's rich! A-holes....
