Assner will make his first appearance at First Baptist Church 1111 Harvard Avenue (First Hill at the corner of Harvard & Seneca) for an 11:00AM "interfaith" service and then the big squawk at 12:00 downtown at the usual trouble-making venue of West Lake Mall... Several FReepers intend on going right into the belly of the beast. If you are a daring FReeper, please FReep mail me and I will give you the details to meet in Seattle for a Pre-FReep before our Flag Waving! Bring cameras & American flags. Big ones.

All other FReepers drive to Outpost 122, bring your American Flags, "The World Supports the WOT", and "Kerry: Come clean, release your medical records" signs with you. And make sure to meet for lunch at 2:00 PM. NOTE: Park carefully, not on the sidewalks.

Just a guess, ...worldly matters have taken precedence over Jesus, and a misguided understanding of his teachings? Some of these churches don't even acknowledge that our Lord is divine and resurrected. It becomes more about social activism than love for Jesus.

Not to lose heart, SwyChron. If you are in the area, join the rally supporting the troops. It is enormously uplifting for everyone and lots of friends are there. I don't expect to change the mind of the extreme leftists - that will need to occur in their hearts first.
