Stern better be very careful.
"At Horeb you aroused the LORD's wrath so that he was angry enough to destroy you." Deut 9:8

I can't stand him. Never could. However, he seems to be trying his best to alienate what little support among the dumb-masses he has left.

How vile.
Fitting scripture shared, truth.

Here. Pass these around.

Rom. 1:18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness,
Rom. 2:5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 God "will give to each person according to what he has done." 7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. 8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. 9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;
Eph. 2:3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.
1 Thess. 1:9 . . . They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, 10 and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead-- Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.
Rev. 6:15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?"

I think he must be trying to get booted off. He looks like a complete ass. He said last week was likely going to be his final week becasue he was going to be so heavily fined, he'd be off the air. Well, it didnt happen. Now he looks like an idiot.

A lot of this seems like one big bash-Bush, bash-conservatives stunt.

He certainly has his defenders on FR. I wonder what they will think of this.

Leave him alone, we are not supposed to "throw pearls at the swine". Let him waddle in the mud!

Howard has often complained that he's being crucified by the various forces of the government. Years ago he had a tape - Crucified by the FCC. All this is nothing new for Howard.
I don't know how to post pics, but you can see a pic of the box here:
http://www.animaux.net/stern/tapes.html. No disrespect, but many people were crucified. I don't have a problem w/Howard's use of the term or pictures. I think most people know the difference between Jesus and Howard Stern. Howard hasn't lost his 1st Amendment rights (yet).

I don't have a problem w/Howard's use of the term or pictures. Jesus said (and I say to you), "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." Luke 23:34
Are you a Christian? Do you know what Christ did for each and every one of us on the cross?

He may have a point:
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. - Matthew 25:40
And clearly, Mr. Stern is one of the least of 'em.

The story goes that there were three religious leaders arguing outside a bar: a priest, a minister and a rabbi.
Says the priest, "I'm Jesus Christ."
"Oh no," said the minister, "I'm Jesus Christ."
"Gentlemen, I beg to differ," chimes the Rabbi. "I am indeed Jesus Christ."
At this juncture Howard Stern stumbles up, drunk as hell. "You guys are all fulla s--t!" he slurs, "I'm Jesus Christ!"
"Oh yeah?" they all say, "prove it!"
"Right!" yells Howard. "Just follow me." He leads them into the bar. The bartender takes one look at Stern and says, "Jesus Christ ... are you back here again?"

First of all, you're addressing a woman in your post.
Secondly, she's right. He's been doing this thing for over a decade.
Can I ask a question--when MadTV did the "Greatest Action Story Ever Told" where the guy playing Arnold portrayed a cyborg sent back into time to protect Jesus, was THat blasphemy?
Or is it only people or shows you like that can get away with such things? I respect The Passion and Gibson, but ANY MOVIE is up for parody.
It may be tasteless to equate his predicament with a man being crucified, but it can't be blasphemy because he doesn't believe nor do lots of other people.
