WASHINGTON (CNN) -- This week's deadly train bombings in Spain will not lead to a rise in the U.S. color-coded terror threat alert system, a Department of Homeland Security spokesman said Friday.
"Based on the current intelligence, we have no specific indicators that terrorist groups are considering such an attack in the U.S. in the near term," said department spokesman Brian Roehrkasse.

There are many ways to wage a bioterrorism war. I lived in an apartment for 4 months in San Diego. The lush gardens were loaded with rats. It would have been simple to infect the rats plague or typhus. Plague is endemic in the local population of squirrels and prairie dogs. It would be difficult to prove that wasn't the source.

Thanks for the humor break!Humor? I was being kind, diplomatic and politically correct. I'm going to Salt Lake City or San Diego if I'm every seriously ill again. Living in a small town does have a few down sides. Medical care is one of them.

It would be great if you both worked on this together. One can help research and the other keep track on paper or something like that. MD are you in?

If a medical Dr has trouble diagnosing this, how can we count on them to diagnose bio. infection? In one of the prior Threat Matrix threads I called attention to the possibility that with so many of the symptoms of bio-terrorism appearing similar, this could be the cause of fatalities in cases where treatment was delayed or misdiagnosed.

Yes they were doing more than R&R in Mexico. Same reason we are fixing Haiti now. No tinfoil required. More ops going on than that too.

For borderline or early stage type 2 diabetics, cinnamon seems to offer some help.
Type 2 diabetics may get a health boost from a dash of cinnamon
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1066176/posts Recent studies showed that 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon reduced blood sugar, as well as cholesterol and triglicerides.
