My parents are Navy and I sorta regret never getting the chance to live abroad while I was in the house...after I and my three bothers were off on our own, my parents got a gig over in the Philippines, where my dad was the ranking Supply officer as the ships were coming thru Subic Bay on their way to Desert Storm. I was visiting that Christmas, and it was an intense time.

I have traveled overseas before I was ever married to The Sailor. It was a great time, but the thought of taking my kids out of the country is not an enjoyable thought. Wherever we end up will be fine.

Gotta love Navy people. Although, those Marines aren't too bad either. LOL!
