The coyotes run our fence line and sometimes have come very near the house. We hear them howling and yipping at night, too. They have increased in numbers the last few years.

"We are devastated," Patricia Borawski said. "My husband slept with his head on the dog's bed and cried out her name." This person has serious problems IMO.

Wife's friend HAD a coyote problem...seems they thought the cats were tasty treats...Couple of pop shots with the AR-15...cat's don't disappear anymore...

We have coyotes in Georgia as well, they are eerie sounding animals in the pitch black of night. They're part of the reason I have bull dogs instead of yip yip dogs although i'm sure that most here would trash me for owning any type of "God forbid" a pit bull dog. But then again my dogs haven't been eaten by the wild animals either.

Coyotes attacking Lhasa apsos, bichon frises, chihuahuas....am I sensing a trend here?
Hey guys, I got me another one of those weird shaped rats!
To: Shermy
When I moved into our present house, I had a new neighbor ask me if I hunted. I said, yes.
Then he asked me if my wife was good looking. Again I said yes.
The neighbor went on to tell me that he hunts coyotes, and that coyote hunting is better than sex.
I have to admit he made me want to go coyote hunting... but it also made me wonder what HIS wife looked like.

Are there coyotes in Chappaqua ?

I think they need some wolves in NY. Most of the libs in NY were more than happy to see them reintroduced out here in Idaho. I think the rattlesnake needs to be reintroduced to NY too...Oh wait..They already have Hillary.

Upstate NY Ping! please let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from the ping list.
"We are devastated," Patricia Borawski said. "My husband slept with his head on the dog's bed and cried out her name."
Now, I have had to suffer the loss of my dog as well. It is a terrible thing. But this is a bit much. Even if I did lay in the dog bed and cry out her name, I sure as heck wouldn't let my wife tell the papers about it!

Just to let you know, I've seen coyotes put some mighty big dogs under the porch. On the other hand, I've seen a forty pound Walker face two coyotes and make them run. I'd be interested in finding out how your pit bulls do.
