Greek Train Bomb plot thwarted: 5 propane rail cars crossing Bulgarian border were rigged to explode

12-03-2004

Five wagons that would transport propane had been trapped with big quantity of exposives train from Bulgaria, that had destination Thessalonica and had been trapped with exposives, it unfolded the passed week in Serres. In the train, that charged propane in Thessalonica in the five wagons-reservoir, had been placed big quantity of explosive matter, without however detonator.

After information that had the Counterterrorist Service, the train was immobilised in the station of Strimonas passed Monday the evening and now the beginnings appreciates that in the affair exists entanglement of Balkan mafia.

After the researches of experts, were located and removed the exposives and were sent in Athens for examination. From that moment began also the crj'ler localisation of perpetrators with climax the arrest of one of Bulgarian, who is considered informant of secret services.

Bulgaria with destination Thessalonica, that would transport propane and it would return in Bulgaria, had been placed explosive matter. Immediately were mobilised men of Department of Neutralisation of Explosive Mmihanjsmw'n and police officers of Address Serres and him immobilised Monday of 2 March, in the Strimonas.

The scripts

The police officers removed the employees THOSE WHO, in that they prohibited to approach in the train without to them they explain why. When finished the control and in order to they do not move the suspicions of employees they made reason for researches for narcotics.

From that moment meant alarm so that is located the person that gave the information and began to become combination of scripts so that they are exported sure conclusions.

The djwktjke's beginnings little later arrested one Bulgarian, who - came and go in Thessalonica for big time interval - it is brought that it gave information in the Greek secret services but also in the services of America and Britain. The Bulgarian, who anakrj'netaj by men the Counterterrorist and EYP, it appears to be involved immediately in the affair of even placement.

From the moment where was located the train-bomb in Serres, the beginnings try they evaluate with absolute secrecy each information and each element that results from the interrogation of Bulgarian.

Manipulation

Is mainly searched the case the bomb it had been placed by the Bulgarian informant and his collaborators - becomes reason for the Balkan mafia - with a view to it induces the beginnings in order to it traffics in big quantity of narcotics or even oil or it extracts money.

Even if all the possibilities are examined, the beginnings cannot exclude one from the efjaltjka' scripts - it reached that is to say the train in his destination and there with the loading of propane they was placed the explosive mechanism and they was activated with tragic consequences.

H Counterterrorist Service and the EYP examine and more painful scripts. Thus, they report that they cannot ignore also the recent case in France, where unknown organisation threatened anatjna'xej trains in case where to her they was not overwhelmed ransoms.

Blackmail

A other script, that is examined, it is the explosive matter it was placed by foreigner secret services with a view to they blackmail in view the Olympic Fights, so that is supplied our country new systems of safety or it cedes the responsibility of protection of athletic installations. It is a rather extreme script.

In every case, certain is that the choice of train, that would transport propane in order to is placed the explosive matter, it is not accidentally after it could cause victims and damage or simply a enormous noise for the effectiveness of metres of safety of country and in particular in view the Olympic Fights.

Worrying it is that the arrested Bulgarian had interconnections with the EYP and secret services of foreigner countries and he appears to have relations and with, which outlaw activates itself in the Balkans.

Alarm in the ministry of Public Order Alarm meant in the ministry of Public Order afterwards the blow in Spain. Even if as it was stressed officially, via the head of EL.AS. Mr Fotis Nasja'koy, "the Police is not afraid, but of course it worries ", as soon as it became acquaintance the blow became wide deliberation in the ministry of Public Order with object the effectiveness of metres of safety in view the Olympic Fights.

The blow caused also agitation in THOSE WHO. The minister of Transports k. Mjh. Lja'pis epjkojnw'nise me k. G. Voylgara'ki and asked also the taking of metres from the ministry of Public Order. Already THOSE WHO from alone him it has intensified the controls in the interior and the abroad of trains. However, this control is not judged sufficient and for this reason was asked the subscription of Police.

According to sources of ministry of Public Order, the patrols were increased also the controls in the stations, even if they appreciated that is difficult the keep.

The metres will increase also the next days and they are expected to extend itself in the Underground and the ISAP, but also in the stations where have starting line the means of mass transport.

ETA only operates in Spain and targets specific agendas.
All ETA agendas are contained in the Iberian peninsula. The fight with the ETA is a family fight amongst Iberians.

What happened in Spain may just heal some family wounds.

The Greeks got the ship from Tunisia carrying explosives to Sudan a few months ago. They are doing a good job as demonstrated here again. Let's hope the informant know more than what is being reported.

I have no doubt it is muslim money at work here. After all, Muslim terrorism has been going on in this region for hundreds of years.

Subject: DO NOT OPEN THE GIFT HORSE

Hey Hector, This was forwarded to me by Cassandra--it looks legit. Please distribute to Priam, Hecuba, and your 99 siblings.

Thanks,

Laocoon

>WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!

>IF YOU RECEIVE A GIFT IN THE SHAPE OF A LARGE WOODEN HORSE

>

>DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT!!!! It is EXTREMELY DESTRUCTIVE

>and will overwrite your ENTIRE CITY!

>

>The "gift" is disguised as a large wooden horse about two stories

>tall. It tends to show up outside the city gates and appears to be

>abandoned. DO NOT let it through the gates! It contains hardware

>that is incompatible with Trojan programming, including a crowd of

>heavily armed Greek warriors that will destroy your army, sack your

>town, and kill your women and children. If you have already received

>such a gift, DO NOT OPEN IT! Take it back out of the city unopened

>and set fire to it by the beach.

RE: Greeks bearing gifts

Laocoon,

I hate to break to you, but this is one of the oldest hoaxes there is. I've seen variants on this warning come through on other listservs, one involving some kind of fruit that was supposed to kill the people who ate it, and one having to do with something called the "Midas Touch." Here are a few tipoffs that this is a hoax:

1) This "Forward this message to everyone you know" crap. If it were really meant as a warning about the Greek army, why tell anyone to post it to the Phonecians, Sumerians, and Cretans?

2) Use of exclamation points. Always a giveaway.

3) It's signed "from Poseidon." Granted he's had his problems with Odysseus but he's one of their guys, isn't he? Besides, the lack of a real header with a detailed address makes me suspicious.

4) Technically speaking, there is no way for a horse to overwrite your entire city. A horse is just an animal, after all.

Next time you get a message like this, just delete it. I appreciate your concern, but once you've been around the block a couple times you'll realize how annoying this kind of stuff is.

No rest for the weary,

Hector

.....those translation websites leave allot to be desired!.....

Indeed they do.. but it's not an easy task. Try learning Greek for example. This one seems better than many I've read. Tranlating from Greek is bound to be harder than from French or Spanish, which share much structure and even many similar words with English.

You won't except for meaningless chatter. Muslims are still grieving over their loss of "Al-Andalus". I've heard the grief and visceral anger many times from their own mouths.

The terrorists and their backers who commmited yet another atrocity are considered "liberators" in their communities.

No words can describe the horror I feel for those innocent victims who died so horribly. They were victims in the 8th century and victims again. Actions to take---I can think of a few...

Gotta be hard for you to be in NY right now, too.

Of course New Yorkers (I am not from the city) who lived through the 9-11 attacks empathize closely with victims of attacks everywhere. Let me add---decent people don't have to be in or from New York to experience the pain and anger that Muslim terrorist attacks instill anywhere and any time. The anger and revulsion caused by Muslim scumbags have become more and more common since the Muslims renewed their 20th/21st century jihad.

I hear you.

I was watching Fox and chatting on-line just as 9-11 happened.

I've never seen or felt anything so awful in my life.

I eventually ended up having to use Zoloft for about 6 months because I could not get the images of that day out of my head, and if i slept at all I had night-mares about it.

I didn't used to be a prejudiced person. I have a REAL problem with Islam these days, though.

Let me know if any Greek language articles need translation. I have translated professionally in the past.
I won't do a book but short articles and such I'll gladly do time permitting.

Next step in the Balkans -- let the Serbians run wild again. The US defended the terrorists in Kosovo and Albania, and again we get a nice thank you, just as we did in Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia.

"does anyone else use the windows translation option? i assume it showed up with my most recent upgrade. I right clicked and there it was "translate this page""

I tried that and got a page full of question marks.
Good thing I read Greek...badly, but I do read it.

You guys didn't really miss much. The original in Greek is hard to follow.
