After 3/11, perhaps Flip Flop Kerry can tell us what exactly about the calculated mass murder of innocents he finds "exaggerated."

He also called Spain "window dressing" when discussing the Spanish contribution to the coalition.
I would dare say Spain does not feel like window dressing today.

Enemies Within - Clinton Administration took away our military edge***The months ahead will be difficult ones, but they will also bring opportunities. We can be grateful that many Americans have now begun to appreciate what they have in this country, and also that what they have can be lost. Already there is a new unity, a new patriotism in the land. Already Americans are beginning to realize how lucky they are to have a President who believes in America, and who is committed to winning Americas war.
But we must not forget how slim the margin was by which this President was elected to lead us in our nations crisis. We must not forget how deeply the forces that hate America have penetrated our institutions and weakened our national resolve.
Our task is to continue our efforts to strengthen the foundations of this great democracy of ours, to win the hearts and minds of those who are in America, but not yet of it, not yet for it.
This is the battle we are in together. It is a battle we lost in Vietnam. That loss led directly to Americas weakness and the terrorist attack of September 11th. It is a battle we must not lose again.***

"I think there has been an exaggeration," Mr. Kerry said when asked whether President Bush has overstated the threat of terrorism. Tell it to the Spanish, Ketchup boy,
To: JohnHuang2
Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts said during last night's Democratic presidential debate that the threat of terrorism has been exaggerated. "I think there has been an exaggeration," Mr. Kerry said... Next campaign commercial for Bush/Cheney. If JFKerry doesn't understand terrorism, he cannot be a legitimate candidate for the highest office in this country.

To: Republican Red
Exactly -- Kerry has also insulted all of our allies by smearing them as a 'Fraudulent Coalition.'

Thank you for posting, Cincy, and hello, my friend.

Agree.
To: JohnHuang2
What a really stupid thing to say in a campaign. I mean, no matter if you agreed with him or not, it was a moronic risk to take. All it took was one day like yesterday in Madrid to make him look like a complete fool on this topic, and it's THE most important topic to Americans.
Who lets these guys do these things?
To: HarryCaul
Liberals are by definition fools. The more I think about it, the more I think Rush's right in concluding Kerry lacks the brilliance of Howard Dean to be careful in not saying really stupid things. Don't worry, he'll trip up many time before the election since liberals can't help themselves - its in their nature to be stupid.

What an outrageous comment, to demean one of our staunchest allies like that. He is unfit for public office if that is true.

I've been amazed at what terrible campaigners the Dems have been this year. I mean horrific mistakes that anyone should have avoided. Makes you realized the Clinton/Gore team at least knew what they were doing.
