People who say "no blood for oil" do not understand energy. Oil is the most precious commodity on the planet. Oil makes the world go round, and in order to keep our lifestyle in America, we better be willing to shed blood for oil.

Thanks for looking.

A consumer-driven economy like ours is dependent on cheap, reliable energy. We had darn well better be ready to fight, or we'll fall back into a Dark Age.

I can remember when computers used a skyscraper floor of vacuum tubes to run and needed their own HVAC system to stay cool... yet today, a cell phone has as much processing power, and is as common as dirt. If we want to avoid falling back into those "good old days" we will have to defend ourselves.

How about if we save our blood and drill our own oil? Then we can put the terrorists money supply out of business. Seems too simple to me, but hey, who am I? Our wonderful senate blocks oil exploration of our land. They should be held responsible for the bloodshed.

Yeppers - I love the Polar Bears and Carribou as much as the next guy, but they're just going to have to live with pumps and oil pipes. The animals have been getting along just fine for quite a long time without help, and if placing some oil exploration in their habitat kills them off, well, obviously, they were not the "fitest".

The way I see it, it's a race between us and China for the oil, and we're a few steps ahead. As for the rest of the world - they can kiss our a$$es - and buy the oil we control at double.

I am still amazed at the absolute stupidity of the sheeple who shows up at these "no blood for oil" anti-war protests.

They drive from their air-conditioned homes (powered by oil generators) in their automobiles (again powered by oil) to protest and display their absolute passavity & pacisfism (sp) which encourages other despots & dictators to move in and grab the world's oil supplies in the middles east.

And if this was to happen (thank God that it didnt!!) then all of a sudden with gas/fuel prices shooting up to $9.00/gallon they would be the same ones to say "Dammit, its Bush's Fault again"

O'Reilly is on this story and is having Bevan from the UN back on his show on Monday to ask him some more questions about the Oil for Food program. I doubt that he will get any more honest answers than he did the first time, but it should be interesting. I am not much of a O'Reilly fan, but I have to admit that he is tenacious.

I'm glad to hear that. While O'Reilly is not my favorite media person, he does have a following, and the exposure will help.

My 2¢'s about the un?

American Policy Center on-line Declaration of Independence from the U.N.

As I recall, the un has one or more "contingency sites" located in other nations... let's banish them there--

Looks like there is quite a long list of names to send to Iraq when they have Saddam's trial.

Lots of criminals to be tried for war crimes.

No wonder the UN cut and ran out of Iraq, and no wonder why many do not want them back.

That will be the success of a JFKerry presidency putting the UN back in Iraq.
