And this seems so applicable here!
"First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out --
because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the communists
and I did not speak out --
because I was not a communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out --
because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me --
and there was no one left to speak out for me."
~~Pastor Martin Niemoller
(victim of the Nazis)
Is there anything we can learn from this?
When they came for the Catholics?
When they came for the Baptists?
When they came for the fundamentalists?
When they came for the agnostics?
When they came for the physically disabled?
When they came for the mentally disabled?
Just something for all of us to think about -- is this picture larger than we currently see it?

Underground pamphleteers ignited the flames of revolution in 1776. Now the Internet is fanning those flames all over again. And that's bad news for Hillary. I especially liked this part. I am buying your book my friend...oh hell...I'll buy 3.

Bump for FREE Speech and for FreeRepublic! Thank the Lord for the internet. We HONESTLY believe the public would not know what they do today if not for the internet. If not for FreeRepublic.com and people like those mentioned in Richards book and in this thread!
Name ONE site that has a forum like this Jim? Let me say.. job well done! (Though I know you won't take a much deserved bow).
Richard,.. we wish you much success for this book!
May it be a BEST SELLER and remain #1 for YEARS!
Let FREEdom ring!

I know exactly what Jim is talking about. Buy a good security system if you ever go public against the Clintons.

Wow!

And that's why we hang around FreeRepublic and that's why we love Jim Robinson.
I can't wait to read this one!

Trying to keep the Freepers pulling in the same direction is like trying to herd cats. LOL!
Great forward. Can't wait to read the book.

I was one of the "silent majority", cursing at my TV whenever Rather or his ilk spewed their garbage, which passes as news, to the American public for the last 30 odd years. When I found Free Republic a few months ago, I found my voice. I thank God for such a forum, my only regret is that I didn't find it sooner.
I will buy this book, and recommend it to my MANY conservative family members and friends.
Thanks to both of you.

Now anyone with a computer and Internet connection wields the equivalent of his own printing press, along with a worldwide distribution network. And the rise of Free Republic and the rest of the "new media" (talk radio, C-span, competitive 24-hour cable news) is inversely proportional to the decline of the Democrat Party and liberalism. The monopoly on the dissemination of the news that the liberal networks and newspapers enjoyed for decades is gone, and the truth can no longer be suppressed.
My hat is off once again to Jim Robinson.
Jim's role in trying to save America cannot be understated.
