Kristol and Barnes column mentioned asking if we are going to be too wimpy in this campaign Well, first of all Kristol and Barnes certainly know something about being "wimpy".
Having said that, we've got to pace ourselves. This is the first election cycle that is up and running in March...nine months before the election.
If we take the gloves off now, my bet is everyone's going to tune out by the end of April.

How does anyone know this? Not to agree with it, just to explain their way of coming up with that number, they take difference between the number of people dropping from the unemployment rolls, and the number added to the payroll survey. It ignores those who start their own businesses or work as an independent contractor as shown by the growth in jobs in the household survey which is a larger universe than the payroll survey.

"There you go again" was Reagan's humorous and effective put-down....I'd like to see/hear more of the same to the mud-slings from the Left.

There have been some things in the columns and media that needed to be questioned so they could be answered,I believe.

Discussing the Shiite majority wants to be in control. Bremer says that isn't a fair assessment. Democracy is about more than majority rule...also minority rights. This is what they are wrestling with.
Wallace pointing out that this is the third time the Ayatollah has vetoed things. Bremer says talking about veto isn't helpful. This is normal democratic hashing things out. Bremer says wait until tomorrow. Wallace is doing his best to paint a gloomy picture.

Thanks for posting the lineups each week.
Just in case everyone didn't hear the news. GW & Vicente had a "kissy face" session yesterday. Seems that we are all going to have to adopt a Mexican. J/K but all those billions that were proposed by Bush just two years ago have been lost??? It seems that Vicente apparently has some pix of Bush in some compromising positions which prevents W from enforcing the immigration laws and securing the border with Mexico. More to come...
Latest on Kerry's medical records. Seems that because Kerry's three Purple Heart commendations might come under criticism for legitimacy, Kerry is refusing to release those records. The Navy's response to "paper cut" Purple Hearts. "No comment!" Looks like Kerry has a lot more in common with Kennedy than the same initials. "War hero?" more like "Gold brick."

I have told probably 20 people in the last few weeks that although we have lost over 2 million jobs, we have also added over 2 million jobs.
The answer EVERY time is "No way". They do not believe it.
The links above PROVE it to all but the most partisan people who don't want to believe GOOD news for the country or for the president.
Why the president and his administration don't talk about this more is beyond me.
I've e-mailed the White House, Rove, RNC, etc. and begged them to discuss the REAL facts regarding the jobs situation. To no avail it appears.

I think I missed this:
I looked away from the TV screen just as Rudy was finishing. Rudy reached over the table, as if to shake hands with Tim. Next glimpse I saw, was Tim setting back in his chair.
Did Tim refuse to shake hands with Rudy or did they shake hands?

We are an impatient bunch after the hammering given lately by the dem candidates.I agree,we can't wait too long but we should not peak too soon. The public grows tired of constant negatives, but it works I hear at the last part of campaigns.
