Including all tax filings would probably improve accuracy, but it would also include retired people reporting investment income. I guess no system is perfect.

So those statistics Russert highlighted showing 87% of democrats angry of President Bush are actually only 87% of 6% of voters. Great Point...This seems to be a reoccuring problem for the republicans, (when a democratic blowhards leave themselves wide open for 'checkmates', 'smackdowns', 'slap-em-sillies-with-facts') the pubbies say 'Ah Gee'...
They must kill more of their brain cells than demos the night before.

When Russert put up the graphic showing 6 potential Kerry veep choices, Serpenthead claimed it only showed how "deep" their "stable" is.
As a Floridian, I can tell them how "deeply UNstable" at least one of those potential veeps is...

I was in the military from 61 til 69 and JFK was my Commander in Chief for part of that time.I participated in the Cuban Blocade and was scared to death. When you go to general quarters and this is not a drill and you can see the soviet ships about a mile away it was tense.JFK was good for the military, Johnson was a prick, fruad, thief, dirty scumbag. Kennedy had written the order to start drawing down the troops from Nam. I will always believe this is what got him killed. Johnson Made billions from Brown and Root contracts during Nam. Lady Bird owned, I think, a majority of B&R shares.

Grahm has changed. He is not the same person he was during the 80's. He needs to retire.

I just tuned in and CNN has Weasley Clark commenting on the Baghdad explosions.
Is he a political guest, or have they re-hired him as a "non partisan" analyst?

Don't know, but he sounded almost sensible until he started talking about needing the UN to go in there.

Was it just me or did Chris Wallace intimate in his closing segment that Mel Gibson is anti-semitic? YIKES!

I caught that "deep bench" nonsense, too. They are so delusional. The Guardian did a piece the other day talking about what an impressive lineup the dems had put up, culminating in Kerry emerging the winner.

Yes they did! It came out about a year later and they had been scheduled to be removed before then. All they did was speed it up and they did keep it secret at first.

Amazing...
The Iraqis don't want the UN. They are well aware that the UN corruption through the food for oil program and the extent to which it kept the pressure off Saddam.

Hope everything is going ok over there.

You aren't far off the mark with regard to Kerry. His wife in an interview some time ago said that he still suffers from post traumatic syndrome. Well now, there's a wonderful endorsement. Even the ketchup queen says he has mental problems.
I don't know if Viet Nam warped Kerry's view of the world or if Kerry's view of the world warped his view of Viet Nam. Regardless, he is a warped individual and should be kept as far as possible from any position of authority.

If Bush wants to cinch the election, he'd get Rudy Guilliani on the ticket.
9/11 would not be "off the table" then.
