Glad to hear it!

Maybe the news shows will eventually report that the highly visible 9-ll victim families against the Bush ad are members of a group sponsored by Theresa Heinz.

Why eventually they might stop yammering about firemen against Bush, and correctly report that the other LOUD Bush ad opponent is the big time Kerry supporter, union head...and no one offers how few members and non-members agree with him.

Onyx - I've freepmailed PhiKapMom and Jmstein7 with some jobs links and requests for a course of action we can take to get the word out and get the adminstration to get the word out.

Some key points:

As of February 2004, there has been a household gain of 2.4 million jobs.

Monthly job statistics began to be collected in 1939. Since that time, there HAS NEVER been positive growth in jobs two years after a recession ended. Instead, there's been a 0.6% decline. What's going on with the jobs, therefore, is entirely consistent with what's happened every other time there has been a recession. And we've never had a 9/11 before.

The net worth of all US households is $44.4 trillion, the highest level ever.

More than two-thirds of American families own their own homes, the highest percentage ever.

Weekly initial jobless claims have dropped from a high of 459,000 last year to 345,000 last week.

Consumer prices increased just 1.9% in the past year.

The unemployment rate is 5.6%. The average unemployment rate since 1980 was 6.3%. The average unemployment rate in the 1990's was 5.7%.

The stock market has advanced 45% in the past 12 months.

The gross domestic product, the total goods and services produced in the US, increased in the third quarter last year at an annual rate of 8.2% after inflation and 4.1% in the fourth quarter. Growth in the 1990's averaged a little better than 3% annually.

The wealthiest 5 percent pay more than half the taxes, while people in the bottom half pay just 4 percent.

Factory output is at a 20 year high.

The number of American workers is at an all-time high of 138.5 million, a level never before attained in U.S.
history.

The average was is currently $15.40 vs. $11.80 during Clinton's term.

Sounds just like Carter mouthing off last week. Americans don't give enough to the third world. We're using up resources and don't give a damn about anyone else. We need to be taxed out of our everloving minds. Hey, the UN has come up with a tax idea. They could tax every individual citizen, and that way, the countries couldn't stop payments when the UN made 'tough decisions'. Gag.

Maybe some of those no longer looking for employment are starting a small business.

Wallace is a leftie at heart and wants to keep his friends on the left.

That said, he gives our side a chance to shine.

Ask those people who deny jobs were created if they themselves have a job.

Mary Matilin didn't use this exact word, but essentially she was 'right on' in describing kerry as a chameleon--able to adapt his 'policies' to whatever group he is with.

Her exact phrase was Kerry is a "political zealot", meaning he'll say whatever the audience he is addressing wants to hear.

Bush's people are like Nixon in the Nixon/JFK TV debates in 1960. Bland and washed out.

Reporting on what we're seeing on these shows is not being "on our knees".

You are completely and revoltingly out of line.

Their "job" is to lie to the American people and as Cokie Roberts just said on the George Stephanapolous show, many, many people think that Kerry talking about the lack of jobs in the country has undermined consumer confidence and drive jobs down!!!

We need to be taxed out of our everloving minds.

Tell that to the Vermont town that is heavily taxed by the state for schools, and gets little back. I'm sure everyone of those townspeople voting to secede and join NH is a Republican. NOT!

Pundits say Bush wins 9 to 2

On the Chris Mathews show the special panel of pundits, anonymously voted and came up 9-2 GWB wins....

Forget what they say on TV....
