Goodbye Stern, Hello Morality
Yahoo! News ^

Posted on 03/06/2004 2:48:24 PM PST by allegiance

Thank GOD! That guy was a pox on the moral nature of this country. He claims that religion is winning the war, and I pray to Jesus that is true.

God bless America and President Bush

Yeah, all that work to get it pulled or suffer the "posted here " injustice.

Bush is a fuqtard, go Howard!

Ladies and gentlemen, here we have a textbook example of a real troll. Note the insulting DU-inspired screenname. The insubstantial swipe at President Bush. The attempt at cursing, but not quite achieving the proper effect. And finally, the newly-minted signup date.

Look carefully, for these trolls have a very short lifespan.

The most sensible post I've seen in this thread. It deserves repeating;

First, private employers do not exert censorship, they exert judgement.
Second, the broadcast airways are currently publicly owned and thus subject to regulation by the public through their elected representatives.
Third, the first amendment does give Howard an inalienable right to somebody elses soapbox. He can put all the trash he wants on media that is not public.

Thank you. Next week, we will hunt the elusive flamebaiter. Crikey, I'll even let my newborn son pet it!

Good thing you didn't use your right not to listen. Your delight in having the government intervene on your behalf surely is inspiring. No need for personal responsibility when the Nanny State is at your service.

Yeah, it would be such a shame for our country to go back to the standards of the 50's and 60's. People were so much less free in those days.

That is exactly why we need to make sure the Rats don't get back into power. If you don't want that to happen then we need to be unafraid to use the power God has granted us.

The FEC and the FCC need to fine any network or local affiliate that show ANY MoveOn.org ads. The fines need to be severe, levied for every illegal showing of the ads and they need to continue until the criminal MoveOn.org is brought to heel.

You are a text book example of why we need to be afraid.

In fact, I'm POSITIVE you are a DU idiot trolling for people to agree with your asinine ideas.

Postive.

Children should not be exposed to Howard Stern. It is the parents responsibility to protect their children not the nanny state's as you propose.
Rational people don't equate the inalienable right of freedom of speech with sodomizing children or animals.

You may be emboldened now that your perceived enemy, Howard Stern, is being censored. Make no mistake, when the Democrats gain control, Rush, Michael Savage, and message boards such as Freerepublic will be censored for, as you put it "slander, lies, spreading filth" One man's lies is another's belief system and religion. This is dangerous territory which will come back to haunt those who don't stand up to tyranny. Here's a quote which you undoubtedly find troubling:
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an
establishment of religion, or prohibiting the
free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom
of speech, or of the press; or the right of the
people peaceably to assemble, and to petition
the Government for a redress of grievances.

Why don't you argue with the RNC Mr. Positive? This is the second time today I have been accused of being a "DU Troll" and I am starting to question whether or no this board is really "conservative" or not.

Do you or do you not agree that if Bush is voted out of office that it will be a victory for Bin Laden?

Do you or do you not agree that Clear Channel should remove Howard Stern from its network and pressure should be brought to bear by the FCC on Viacom to remove Stern from their stations?

Do you or do you not agree that MoveOn.org is a criminal organization that is illegaly purchasing ad time on television networks attempting to influence the 2004 election?

Do you or do you not agree that the homo attempt to redefine marriage needs to be stopped?

Stern is a big crybaby. His show is a debauchery, and has been for 20 some-odd years.

BTW, the (sarcasm-off!) part of my previous post did not come through.

I think Stern's show should not be on the airwaves.

Your questions have nothing to do with anything. They are meant to deflect my point.

You just posted that we need to first get Stern off the air, then we need to use the power of the government to ensure that our political oppostion does not to get to air their views.

You are absolutely a troll. Drop the mask.

Why can't we have live Lesbian sex on primetime network TV? It is the responsibility of the parents to turn off the TV...

The flaw in your paranoid logic is that Demonrats had the chance to do whatever they wanted when Cliton was in office and they didn't. They knew that if they tried to remove Rush there would be a mass uprising maybe culminating in violence. They were too scared of what would happen if they tried.

America is a fundamentally conservative country. People want a decent place to raise their children. Rush's program doesn't adversely effect children. Rush is not out there calling the President of the United States a Nazi during wartime.

If you don't want the Demonrats in power, I suggest you get behind the RNC and support election year action. The War on Terrorism depends on it.

"then we need to use the power of the government to ensure that our political oppostion does not to get to air their views."

Only if they are criminals like MoveOn.org. MoveOn.org is breaking Federal law using soft money donations to effect the outcome of the 2004 presidential election. They should be treated as criminals. Period. Their offices should be seized and their officers prosecuted as such.

Stern is sexually obscence and he is calling the President of the United States a "Nazi" during wartime. Stern is providing aid and comfort to terrorists. Just where is your line for sedition? Is it before or after live lesbian sex on primetime network TV?
