Freeped. The thought that the Rats are trying to turn the President's fine work against him is disgusting. Kerry's war record then should be explored. Right now he's lying through his teeth and there are people who believe him. Let's get his recored out for all to find out what it really was!

What good is a poll when you can vote multiple times? The side with the most free time on their hands will win.

This morning, on one of the cable channels (FNC?) a fire fighter who is a member of the IAFF said that every piece of literature that he has received from the union, asking him to support Kerry, has photos of the 9/11 attack. BUMP that info, bigtime. Thanks, Peach, Mo1, & Jeff. Best to you all.

Just saw Eric Burns (of Fox News Watch fame) on FNC say that these ads are the most tasteful and benign ads he's seen thus far on the 2004 Election campaign. He was the third person in the media that I have heard reference these ads to Reagan's "Morning In America" ads that ran at the RNC convention in 1984.

Interesting the order of selection. . .
Fact is, the Repubs could have used only a picture of the 'towers' in the background and they would be criticized for 'bad taste'. . .'taking advantage'.
It is clear the Dems will do everything to keep Bush from going there - to that reminder of a pivotal moment which changed how America lives in the world. . .
. . .and where a majority of American's came together in their appreciation for a genuine leader.
Surely hope we ignore the obvious of these people and continue to outrage their sensitivities.

H'mmm. I visited that website
Peaceful Tomorrows. A quick view didn't show ANYTHING about any dem/Kerry ads. They wouldn't be, uh, biased or anything there, now would they? That would be unseemly!
They have my condolences for their losses, but they should surely be above politics and cheap anti-Bush shots on their website. I'm thinking, as strong as they are on the subject, they should be informed about what the firefighter said -- do we have corraboration?
fv -- Good morning! FYI Kerry ping fer ya!

I can say almost with 100-percent certitude that this NYDaily News interview with some lady supposedly upset over GWB's use of a WTC firefighter in a campaign ad was simply a transferrence of the reporter's position onto the pages of his or her newspaper.
It is the oldest newspaper-media trick in the book.
As a newspaper reporter myself, I see it done all the time, especially by liberal reporters looking to push an issue.
Consider: All a reporter has to do is to find one, or perhaps two people who will say what the reporter thinks about the subject themselves.
The reporter then just keeps asking the subject questions over and over until they get the exact quote they are looking for.
After that, the reporter or editor then ascribes the views of an entire town or an entire race of people (in this case all NY firefighters or all WTC relatives) to that one person who was interviewed.
Then they add the headline: For example: "NY FIREFIGHTERS LASH OUT AT BUSH ADS" or "FIREFIGHTERS UPSET AT PRESIDENT BUSH CAMPAIGN ADS"
Another little trick reporters often employ is the use of the word "critics" and/or "supporters" without providing attribution.
For example, I can't tell you how many times I've seen a reporter start off a story by using the word "Critics" --- followed by how THEY THEMSELVES feel about that particular subject.
They will write something like....
"Critics of President Bush lashed out at his campaign yesterday, insisting that new ads showing a NYC firefighter holding a flag are not only exploitive but also insulting to those who lost loved ones in the tragic WTC terror attacks.
Bush supporters on the other hand had no explanation as to why the President felt compelled to use such controversial symbols."
QUOTE, QUOTE, QUOTE.
Really, a reporter can write a hit piece in five minutes and put it on the front page, while feigning that he or she is simply stating what the public things.
Bottom line. Sometimes I hate the profession I'm.
On the other hand, it is great to be a reporter. In fact it's a real power trip sometimes. But one has to be honest with themselves, or they end up being slanted, like most liberal reporters are.

This will be one of the DemoRats typical dirty tricks for the next 8 months.
They will trot out some of their faithful, unions, and the media to trash every Bush ad with words like "disgusting".
There will be a well coordinated attack on anything Bush says or does.

It is very appropriate for GWB to use everything about the vicious and unprovoked attack on our country by the islamo-fascist terrorists ~ he is the Commander in Chief and a great leader ~ hell ~ we still see film of Nippon's attack on Dec 7th, 1941 at Pearl Harbor ~ the 9-11-01 attack killed more people than the 12-7-41 did.
We are war!
We are winning ~ the bad guys are losing ~ trolls, terrorists, democrats and the mainstream media are sad ~ very sad!
