This is the best they got?
Kerry
It's Vietnam all over again, A quagmire I tell you a quagmire! My vote for the war was so you couldn't go to war! How dare you go to the UN with promises instead of empty rhetoric! Brent Scowcroft and Jim Baker promised me (or someone I know) that you were only kidding! You misled us by telling us what you were going to do, and had the balls to actually do it!! No politician does that you liar!!
W, I went to Vietnam, I served in Vietnam, We lost in Vietnam, and Mr. Bush, this is almost, sort of like Vietnam (but without the VC springing up in the rice paddies wiping out whole companies, thousands dead every week, no plan for victory, the Tet offensive or the POW's in Hanoi...uhm yea).
Your new ads show images of 9/11. You can't use that! Your politicizing the war!!
Pharmer
In the words of Shakespeare: "methinks thou dost protest to much!".
Bush's ads are a homerun! Keep it up W! Don't let the media get the upper hand. You have so much ammo this time. Keep the powder dry but hit them where it hurts every time!

I don't know for sure what Mr. Kerry did while in Vietnam... He was on a swift-boat. Very dangerous duty. He was the senior officer. Senior officers approve medels. He got a silver star for shooting a VC. Where in the hell is my Medal of Honor? I caused changes population signs!

And who is this survivors group "9-11 families for a Peaceful Tomorrow"? Sounds like a liberal appeasment cult to me... 3000 people died, nearly all of whom were from the liberal NY/NJ/Connecticut area. It is not much of a challenge for the dems to cherry pick the most left-leaning of the survivors and use them for political purposes. Just who, exactly, is exploiting 9-11 now?

Sorry off the subject but wanted to ask fellow freepers what sites they suggest for clever Bush T shirts wanted my family and I to where them as we embark on trying to change democratic pittsburgher's minds.Need good conversation starter.

Bush went nucular on the Democrats. They misunderestimated him. Yes, and what's great is that he did it in a very soft understated manner.
These ads were very positive and simply hinted at importance of 9-11 and the war on terrorism.
It is the over-reaction of the Dems and the liberal media protesting that has really brought the issue of terrorism and national security and Bush to the forefront of the political debate. EXACTLY where it should be.
The more I see the response to these ads, the more brilliant I think they are.
Anytime terrorism and national security become the issue in this campaign, Bush wins.

About your sig line - isn't "self-actualization" at the top of the pyramid? If you twist Maslow a little bit, i.e. "self-admiration", wouldn't that fit Kerry?Nope. Needing the approval of others, or dysfunctional in the self esteem area, would still leave him in the socialization category. About 13 - 16 years old.
BUT, he's still at the bottom. He still nurses off his wife.

I heard the same story. Don't know if it's true.

Kerry returned to the scene of the action and recreated it while being filmed by a crew member with a Super 8 camera. Apparently he plays back this film over and over againSounds like him. What a dork !

When Bush decided to go after the terrorists he and his whole family became marked for death. He and Laura and everyone in their family will never be safe from the Islamic terrorists. Never.
The media never seems to say much about this....

You are so dead on it's scary. Bush couldn't use the bullhorn scene in the ads(that would have been over the top),but tonight CNN,MSNBC,FOx,ect. have all played the hell out of it!

And who is this survivors group "9-11 families for a Peaceful Tomorrow"? Sounds like a liberal appeasment cult to me...When you have so many extended family members of 9/11 victims, it is not hard to dig around and rustle up a few partisan malcontents that you can tutor on how to smear Bush and become MEDIA STARS in the process - - on NATIONAL TEE-VEE!! The rats have apparently been cobbling this group together for some time now in anticipation of Bush "invoking" the terror attacks in his campaign. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if most of these "family members" were not already long-time Democrat activists to begin with.
HOWEVER..... it looks like the Bush campaign was ready for them! I have noticed that there is another group of family members ready, willing, and able to go on the air to defend Bush and his war on terror. And I guarantee that these folks will come off a lot better than the Kerry shills.

And who is this survivors group "9-11 families for a Peaceful Tomorrow"? Sounds like a liberal appeasment cult to me.. Pretty much all of the organized "9/11 families" groups are nothing more than collections of tools for the Left - the 9/11 families who aren't professional left-wing activists are moving on, so they're too busy living their lives to spend all their time whining in the media.
