This is the best they got?
Kerry
It's Vietnam all over again, A quagmire I tell you a quagmire! My vote for the war was so you couldn't go to war! How dare you go to the UN with promises instead of empty rhetoric! Brent Scowcroft and Jim Baker promised me (or someone I know) that you were only kidding! You misled us by telling us what you were going to do, and had the balls to actually do it!! No politician does that you liar!!
W, I went to Vietnam, I served in Vietnam, We lost in Vietnam, and Mr. Bush, this is almost, sort of like Vietnam (but without the VC springing up in the rice paddies wiping out whole companies, thousands dead every week, no plan for victory, the Tet offensive or the POW's in Hanoi...uhm yea).
Your new ads show images of 9/11. You can't use that! Your politicizing the war!!
Pharmer
In the words of Shakespeare: "methinks thou dost protest to much!".
Bush's ads are a homerun! Keep it up W! Don't let the media get the upper hand. You have so much ammo this time. Keep the powder dry but hit them where it hurts every time!

Imagine that. Bets that the major news orgs will reveal once more how deep in the tank they are. Hell, I'd even settle for coverage of this one on page A18. LOL

Maybe the republicans should start running ads depicting the lack of any effective response by the former democrat president when our embassies were being bombed and our naval ships were being bombed and Saddam was thumbing his nose at the United States.
They could show pictures of all the bombing and posturing by Saddam and the last shot could be of a pair of mens' legs with his pants around his ankles.

The people protesting the use of the images have used them themselves.....a peace sign made out of the two towers.

A simple response to all the spew we will invariably hear from the left (DNC) during the next few months is:
BUSH IS A LEADER AND KERRY IS NOT.
I believe this sums it up. Feel free to make as many bumper stickers as necessary.

Check out this good post on the Peaceful Tomorrows guestbook:
"I like many of you lost my beautiful husband Sept 11, 2001. His name was Daniel Trant. I am a mother of 3. I think this is so rediculous that everyone is making such a big deal about this ad. And just to let you know I protested agaisnt Mr. Bush in front of the Supreme Court in Dec. of 2000. I watch my husband die everyday. Our media shows it over and over. Would all of you prefer that President Bush get into a dirty political fight or remind the world who seem to forget about our love ones and the brave young and women fighting for all our freedom. So we can talk freely without being gased or murdered by a saddam. Lets stop bashing and remember our love ones. Thank You President Bush for not forgeting my unfound hero, Daniel Patrick Trant"

Maybe the republicans should start running ads...blah blah blah...
Maybe the republicans should get some balls like Bush and run ads one their core beliefs of what they stand for. Bush is not backing down. He needs to let them have it. A vote for him is a vote for victory!
