Al Qaeda finalized 9/11 in Tarragona The mastermind of the attack says that the date was set in August

The Yemeni Ramizi bin al Shibh, the mastermind of 9/11 who was captured in 2002 in Pakistan and held by the US in Guantanamo, has admitted to interrogators that he met in July, 2001 somewhere on the coast of Tarragona with Mohammed Atta, 33 years old, the leader of the suicide squad that attacked the Twin Towers in New York and the Pentagon in Washington, causing 3,016 deaths.

According to the Guardia Civil, Bin Al Shibh told his captors that the meeting in Tarragona was the last one he had with Atta to decide the details of the attack. The two terrorists met between July 9 and 17, 2001. At the end of that month, Bin al Shibh called Atta to confirm the date and “let a week pass, in case there’s some problem, before communicating with the head of al Qaeda in Afghanistan.

The Egyptian Atta arrived in Madrid on the 8th, from Miami, slept in the Hotel Diana Cazador at the Barajas Airport, and went to Tarragona in a rented car. The Yemeni arrived the same date at the airport of Reus (Tarragona), coming from Hamburg, the principal headquarters of the terrorist cell, and stayed at the Hotel Monica in Cambrils, accompanied by another person.

Four days before the strike, he returned to Spain, picked up a false passport and returned to Kabul. According to the testimony of Bin al Shibh to the FBI, he was the last man from the Hamburg cell who fled Europe before the suicide attackers launched the hijacked planes against the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. In order to get out of Spain, Bin al Shibh relied on the support of various Al Qaeda members in Spain.

The judge Guillermo Ruiz Polanco will send a letter rogatory to the US in order to take the statement of Bin al Shibh, according to judiical sources. The Guardia Civil wants to interrogate the mastermind of 9/11 to clarify the numerous gaps that still exist in knowledge about the “summit” at Tarragona. Investigators still do not know the location on the Catalan coast where Atta and Bin al Shibh met to finalize 9/11, information that the Yemeni has not revealed. The reports of the Guardia Cvil claim that Tarragona was chosen because they could count on the support of Islamic radicals in the area, who provided them with a house or a country place to meet.

The Costa Del Sol. Not too far away from some the fabled playgrounds, estates and pleasure palaces of the Saudi Royals and their sycophansts.

Nice places to meet. Private, secluded, couple of young friends dropping by......

The article describes the role of Ramzi Binalshibh. How he entered Al Qaeda?

Mohammed Haydar Zammar, the man who recruited key 9-11 hijacker, Mohammad Atta, to the Al-Qaeda network, based his terrorist activities in Bosnia. Zammar also brought two of Atta's lieutenants into the Al-Qaeda network, namely Ramzi Binalshibh and Said Bahaji.

Another Clinton legacy.

Another Clinton legacy.

There are two aspects to Clinton's legacy: major disasters, like his failure to deal with Iraq, Al Qaeda and Islamic terrorism in general; and minor disasters, like Haiti. Oh, and then there was his strange behavior in Bosnia. He was nothing if not a complete disaster.
