Vietnam Veterans Denounce 'Hanoi John'

About 200 U.S. Army veterans and Vietnamese escapees demonstrated Saturday outside John Kerry's campaign headquarters in New York City to protest his betrayal of them.

"Waving American and South Vietnamese flags and singing the U.S. national anthem, they held up signs saying 'Hanoi John,' and 'Kerry Betrayed Vietnam Vets'," Reuters reported.

Jerry Kiley, a veteran and one of the protest organizers, said, "We won't sit by and let the American people think that we are going to stand by somebody who stabbed us in the back."

I just heard Tony Snow's new radio show and he played Kerry's testimony where he made all these hideous allegations. I did not hear the intro but I think it was his voice although it sounded a little more affected. Has anyone else heard this? Sorry if I am rehashing old info but this was the first audio I have heard.

I've heard it before. he has a heavy "Boston" accent. Still sounds as pompous today as he did back then.

It's past time to be heard.

I don't know who the vets are but am interested not only in their reactions, but in those they know as well as others here.

If nobody is going to recognize these faults, stones will be left unturned. It's a pain in the ass but emails must be sent to provided addresses of major papers which obviously are not realizing the wrath of veterans, but family, friends, and general public.

We must try.
