If you are going to post an article, please please post a link to said article...don't just link to a site like worldnetdaily or msnbc or whatvever...link to the article!

Sad, isn't it, how many people (even Conservatives) just cannot or will not READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, even if they're only a few sentences (or even a few WORDS) long.

If you mean a site that requires registration like say the LAtimes, I don't care...I am registered with everyone because as stuff gets posted (with links) I want to read it so I register.
Just give me a link I can send to others, if they log in and register or not, who cares...I can link to stuff I read here.

What's worse is the needless excerpting of articles.
If in the future, one wants to retrieve an article that was excerpted via FR's archives, there is no guarantee that the source that originally provided the complete text will still have the article available, which will then leave FR with nothing more than a teeny tiny excerpt and a thread without any context.

A mere link to a remote site that contains the full text of an article is not necessarily
always going to be available for future reference in the days, weeks, months...even years after it was first placed on the net.
Only if it's posted on FR, in full, does it stand a reasonable chance of future retrieval.
