[history]
You, yes you, can right now purchase a truly stylin' sepia-toned "Passion of the Christ" cross-adorned coffee mug, an exact replica of the one Jesus Himself used every morning at the Jerusalem Starbucks.
You can buy "witnessing tools," including lapel pins labeled in indecipherable Aramaic (yay Aramaic! What a comeback! Who knew?) and lapel pins with crucifixes, and packs of "witnessing cards" to swap with your Jesus-happy friends, just like the Disciples did when they sat around the holy campfire, swapping tales of sad lost goddesses and making s'mores with communion wafers and pink Easter marshmallow peeps.

Since I am a Christian I will refrain from telling you what I think about this article. Lord, forgive me my thoughts on this guy.

This has got to be one of the most vicious articles Morford has ever written--and that's saying something.

What's he going to do drop it and let it build up speed til it hits terminal velocity? Why not? After falling for nine days and nights it should be going at quite a clip.

"There is no doubt the movie contains powerful images and thought-provoking subject matter and bone-crushing dismemberments the likes of which we haven't seen since "The Last Temptation of Christ"

Oh, but the Left loved "The Last Temptation of Christ"--after all, it was just a movie!

(I loved it too, btw, but the dichotomy in their position on these two films is fascinating!)

"After all, cheap movie swag is an American tradition."I am sure Ms. Morford was first in line for the anatomically correct action figures from Boogie Nights though.

To: proud American in Canada
If Liberals hate this movie (despite having not even seen it!), then I'm sure I'll love it.

That's pretty much how I gauge anything. If the Left loves it, I stay away. If they hate it, it's more than likely perfect for me.
