February 24, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has dispatched the elite commando force that hunted down Saddam Hussein to Afghanistan for a new operation aimed at getting Osama bin Laden, officials said yesterday. Military sources confirmed that members of the shadowy Task Force 121, the unit that conducted the high-tech search for Saddam and his henchmen, have recently begun operating in the remote mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border where bin Laden and key al Qaeda and Taliban fugitives are believed to be hiding. The Task Force is made up of highly trained Delta and SEAL commandos, as well as CIA paramilitary operators. It operates outside normal military channels.

Another thing about restaurants we've noticed is that it is very common for the person preparing or serving your food to also handle the cash register. Money is FILTHY. Any number of contaminants are on cash and coins including, but not limited to, illegal drugs of all kinds.

A top scientist for the FBI says the money you're carrying in your wallet is probably contaminated by cocaine.

Thomas Jourdan, chief of materials and devices at the FBI laboratory in Washington, D.C., says 85 percent to 90 percent of the currency in the United States has measurable amounts of cocaine. "A new bill is kind of a wall-to-wall sticky surface in a microscopic sense," Jourdan said. "And over the course of that bill's life, it gets things to adhere to it as well as drugs of abuse."

Everyone's money is likely tainted -- even those who've never seen crack or powder cocaine in their lives.

I haven't decided yet, but I'm leaning towards the theory of radiation. I think the flames are used to signify a burning of the skin, although not literal. (Note the flames do not touch the skin, only give the impression of the skin being burnt.)

I haven't decided if there is any significance to the fact that in the circular close-up, there is a finger at the end of the hair. Something to make us pull our hair out, perhaps? Or your theory - that the hair would fall out due to radiation exposure.

Well I'll be jiggered! You won't see me walking around sniffing my cash.

Of course, I most likely have the cash *without* the cocaine since I've heard it's totally uncool to snort with single dollar bills. {grin}

Most definitely. Twenties at the bare minimum, although C notes are the most preferable (so I've been told by an idiot who would know...)

It is completely mind boggling.

Perhaps you remember Iran saying in the fall that the highly enriched Uranium traces found by the IEAE were just leftover from equip they had purchased from other Nations?

It turns out that the only equip the IEAE found highly enriched uranium on was equip manufactured by IRAN or equip that was brand new. They found 80% enriched uranium on the walls of the facility for goodness sake!! That's nuclear weapons grade uranium BTW.

And the story from last week that Iran was also producing polonium? The ONLY use for polonium is as a trigger mechanism for a nuclear device.

So the IEAE has Iran dead to rights for noncompliance, but according to Loftus, Iran is more or less bragging that there's nothing the UN can do because Britain, France and Germany have guaranteed them there will be NO UN security council action.

Zew!

To tell you the truth.

I don't like any of the theories ^-^

But I'm just as intrigued.

Agreed. It's all so subjective, we could split hairs over theories, but they're all just that: theories.

But I've got to admit, this particular graphic has me rather intrigued as well. It seems to be the most direct in its physical effect (although there may have been others while I was incommunicado the last month). The other images have been larger scale; this one brings it to a distinctly individual level.

Look at this crap! (Pardon my French)

California Lawmakers Want Voting Age Lowered to 14

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Four Democratic California lawmakers on Monday proposed giving teenagers as young as 14 the right to vote in a move that would make the often trailblazing state the first in the nation to do so.

Under the proposal, youths under the current legal voting age of 18 would be able to cast ballots in state and local elections only, although their vote would not have full weight that an adult vote would.

For example, a vote cast by a 14 or 15-year-old would be counted as a quarter of a vote, and a vote by a 16 or 17-year-old would be counted as half a vote.

Lawmakers say giving teenagers partial votes would get them interested in the election process and would not violate the U.S. Constitution as long as it only applied to state ballots.

"We believe it's time to open up the franchise to young Californians at the age of 14, let them register and vote and be seriously included in the process," said Democratic State Senator John Vasconcellos.

Sue North, chief of staff for Vasconcellos, said that if the proposal passes, it would be the first time any state would have amended its constitution to allow high school students to vote.

"Bio-Attack" - Oregon Cult Poisonings

In 1984, hundreds of people in The Dalles, Oregon became ill with food poisoning. Local, state and federal disease detectives slowly unraveled the medical mystery. Along with a unique strain of bacteria, they discovered a religious cult's bizarre plot to overthrow the government — using germ warfare.
