February 24, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has dispatched the elite commando force that hunted down Saddam Hussein to Afghanistan for a new operation aimed at getting Osama bin Laden, officials said yesterday. Military sources confirmed that members of the shadowy Task Force 121, the unit that conducted the high-tech search for Saddam and his henchmen, have recently begun operating in the remote mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border where bin Laden and key al Qaeda and Taliban fugitives are believed to be hiding. The Task Force is made up of highly trained Delta and SEAL commandos, as well as CIA paramilitary operators. It operates outside normal military channels.

Just to give you a little info on the URL you posted:

http://veteransrightsnow.50megs.com/anthraxa.html

http://www.50megs.com is a freeserver.

veteransrightsnow is the username that registered with 50megs to post this page.

anthraxa is the name of the html page and is not spelled correctly.

I just did a google using some of the keywords from the article. They only brought up message board sites:

http://www.google.com/search?q=1950%27s+DOD+experimented+live+above+ground+nuclear+detonations&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&filter=0

Propaganda.

I put those search terms in the shipanalysis.com search engine. This catches my eye #1 - the divers and #2 - a decomposed body was also just found in NYC East River.

Look at this:

Body of missing Panhandle fisherman recovered from Gulf

Associated Press

MOBILE, Ala. - A decomposed body recovered from the Gulf of Mexico was identified Saturday as a missing Florida fisherman.

Don Jones, of Pensacola, has been missing since Feb. 23 when his commercial fishing boat, the Sarah B, disappeared during a storm about 45 miles south of Dauphin Island.

His body was recovered Friday from the water about 20 miles southeast of Dauphin Island. The medical examiner says Jones died of hypothermia and drowning.

His crew member, Ida Fitzpatrick, 45, also of Pensacola, was still missing.

The Sarah B was owned by Parker Seafood Co. in Perdido Key west of Pensacola. Company owner Mike Parker said Friday that authorities have told him very little

None at this time.

However, either circumstance will require proof positive and either circumstance probably will have repercussions.

I am assuming he is alive, because up to this point there has been no indication of his being deceased. The "Osama deceased" scenario has been done before. It occured immediately following the Battle of Tora Bora. I do not think the US military wants to re-visit that scenario once again, especially after all the hints that have been dropped lately. That's my personal assessment.

China Close to Sale of 2nd Nuclear Plant to Pakistan, FT Says

March 9 (Bloomberg) -- China is close to selling a second nuclear power plant to Pakistan after they agreed on the technical details for the sale in talks in Beijing last week, the Financial Times reported on its Web site.

The 300-megawatt plant, worth $600 million to $700 million, would be built at Chashma, south of Islamabad, beside the first nuclear power plant China supplied in 1999, the FT said. Pervez Butt, chairman of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, led the delegation that completed the agreement last week, it said.

The deal comes after revelations that Pakistani scientists and nuclear officials, led by Abdul Qadeer Khan, sold nuclear technology to Iran, Libya and possibly North Korea, the FT said. Pakistani officials said safeguards for the two reactors at Chashma would ensure they were used only for generating electricity, it said.

China is Pakistan's most reliable supplier of defense equipment, with other projects including the development of the JF-17 Thunder fighter aircraft and a port at Gwadar.

Did anyone ever post this:
http://www.homelandsecurityus.com/

Where is Voice of Jihad issue 12?

Where is issue number 12 of the Al Qaeda publication Voice of Jihad? That is the question being pondered this weekend by analysts with the Northeast Intelligence Network?

Voice of Jihad is the Al Qaeda internet newsletter that has been published with clockwork regularity for six months now. Normally it brings messages from Al Qaeda leaders, congratulations for successful missions, wills of martyrs, inspirational poetry and writings, and religious commentary from various clerics who are sympathetic to Al Qaeda from a theological standpoint.

A look at the chart of Al Qaeda communications and events at
http://www.homelandsecurityus.com/AttackTimeline.htm shows that the magazine has been published consistently every two weeks for several months.

Our analysts are asking the following questions regarding the delay:

1. Are the individuals responsible for publishing this magazine unable to communicate via the internet at this point in time? Are they perhaps in custody, or in deep hiding?

2. Was there a personnel shift, perhaps resulting from a scenario as described in question 1, which has resulted in the new staff taking time to get up to speed, so to speak, on the magazine publication?

3. Did someone just goof?

4. Or, more ominously, is the magazine delayed because they are waiting for an event to occur, so that they can claim credit or issue congratulatory messages?

We will be watching closely for any sign of the release of Voice of Jihad Issue #12.

The point I was trying to address is that with this form of bioterrorism, people may believe the problem to be a bad respiratory infection and let it go to the very last minute before they seek medical attention.

People make this mistake every day with common infections that are not acts of bioterrorism. This key difference in the case of bioterrorism is that we will have huge numbers of casualties in short order instead of the occasional "oops".
