and Bush will have to be as blunt as you were in this post if he is to make this clear to people, but I fear that will not happen.

Interesting timing with the re-opening of the OKC case and the (attempted) tie-in with white supremacist groups. I'm just not sure how far the OKC case will go. The Clinton's will not want it to go far at all, nor will the FBI, etc. Personally, I want it blown wide open (no pun intended), but, I have my doubts that it will happen. I firmly believe the ME terrorists were involved.

In a speech to some 200 department employees, Bush said the United States was cutting off the terrorists' money supply, chasing down terrorists leaders and disrupting their networks. This came amid claims that while the administration is more aware of threats, it is not doing enough about them.

"We are relentless," Bush said, adding that two-thirds of the key leaders of the al-Qaeda terrorist network have been captured or killed. "We are strong. We refuse to yield. The rest of them hear us breathing down their neck. We're after them. We will not relent. We will bring these killers to justice."

His speech came as an internal Justice Department investigation concluded that continuing delays in the integration of FBI fingerprint files with U.S. Border Patrol databases were leaving the country vulnerable to terrorists.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Chronic delays in the integration of FBI fingerprint files with databases used by the Border Patrol leave the United States vulnerable to entry by foreign criminals and terrorists, Justice Department investigators found Tuesday.

• Bombings suspect has al-Qaida ties March 2: The suspect in the series of suicide bombings that killed at least 140 people in Iraq is a well-known terrorist suspect, NBC’s Jim Miklaszewski reports

Avoiding attacking suspected terrorist mastermind Abu Musab Zarqawi blamed for more than 700 killings in Iraq By Jim Miklaszewski-Correspondent

But NBC News has learned that long before the war the Bush administration had several chances to wipe out his terrorist operation and perhaps kill Zarqawi himself — but never pulled the trigger.

Not only this the airline computers are getting hit by viruses big time. This last attack delayed emails for 24 to 48 hours. All employees were advised if they had time sensitive information to call to relay information.

Convicted assassin becomes commander in Haiti
Tuesday, March 2, 2004 Posted: 7:45 PM EST (0045 GMT)

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (AP) -- A convicted assassin who led army death squads and is accused of ordering hundreds of executions has stepped into Haiti's political arena, vowing to bring law and order.

Dogged by a list of human rights violations, Louis-Jodel Chamblain is keeping out of the political limelight but says he won't be sidelined in the new government.

"What's mine is mine," Chamblain told The Associated Press inside the old headquarters of Haiti's disbanded army, where rebels are setting up their headquarters. "I'm commanding operations."

Thanks for the explanation as I had no idea what most of your previous post was about.

Found this interesting tidbit in a spy numbers newsletter

What does "spy numbers" newsletter mean?

With you being a ham radio person, what is your take on the UK info (credibility, etc.)?

Was on CB Patrol in mean gang infested district. When we would ride down their streets they would run on foot after us! Found out this police district was dealing cocaine, try to fight that! We knew of two people who were dealers and killed by them, and one who was setup and murdered by them. Try reporting that in Daley's town!

I'm not 100% convinced half the citizens voted for him. Reread Cabel's post# 2,146:

>>>>>>I work with technology, and anyone that knows me could tell you that I love new stuff and new gadgets. But these voting machines make me ill. There is no audit trail, no paper record of your vote, and no visibility to the data or the source code of the voting machines. The machines are also notoriously unsecure. Basically all you do is push a button and hope for the best. Even the elections departments have no way to recount or validate the election. All of the power of the election is in the hands of a private company that is accountable to no one. It doesn't take a genius to realize how screwed up that is. I agree with you Ruth, these machines are the end of any semblance of a representative republic that we might have had left.<<<<<<

Now remember the response to Florida? Even if Gore had won Florida, he wouldn't have won; yet he was so sure he did, why?

There have also been quite a bit of articles coming out about, "computer security experts warned of "significant security flaws" with the system designed by Diebold Election Systems. "

I also have heard many rumors about absentee military votes not being counted.

So I am not convinced of the number of votes Gore, either Clintons, nor of the votes Kerry 'thinks' he might receive.

I still see a long bumpy ride ahead.
