Only Gizmo and my mom can hold onto Gizmo's lil pig. LOL Mom trained Gizmo so well, he puts his toy away when he's not playing with it. Toby on the other hand isn't into toys, but sometimes he'll take Gizmo's toy and just hold it in his mouth just to tease Gizmo. Speaking of rabbits. We've got a family of rabbits in the old shed that like to sit out on the grass in the warmer weather to tease and taunt Toby and Gizmo. I'll ask both Toby and Gizmo "Where's the rabbit?" and they'll go looking under the bushes and all over for the rabbits.

Alot of times though, when they're searching for the rabbits, they end up wrestling and playing with each other. It's so funny to watch! They do the same thing every time. LOL

Oh no, How very sad for them. Our dog, Buddy, (we had him first) is 9 1/2. I can't even go there....
To: Kaslin
Yes, that is the one. Guess Nikki was there to welcome Janice home. We all loved that mutt so much that we have not gotten another one.

It gets better, but you never forget. They become a part of you and even when they are gone that part stays with you forever.
I had a Great Dane once who lived to be 14. That's terribly old for a Dane, but he wanted so much to stay. I would have to lift him up to go outside, and he'd shuffle out like the little old man he was. Even when it was time for him to go, and I had to make the decision (the one we all dread) he fought to stay.
I really wish God had given them longer lives. But the time they are with us is worth all the pain at losing them. It get's better.

(Evil thrives when good men do nothing!)
THE CURATE THINKS YOU HAVE NO SOUL
The curate thinks you have no soul;
I know that he has none. But you,
Dear friend, whose solemn self-control,
In our foursquare familiar pew,
Was pattern to my youth -- whose bark
Called me in summer dawns to rove --
Have you gone down into the dark
Where none is welcome -- none may love?
I will not think those good brown eyes
Have spent their life of truth so soon;
But in some canine paradise
Your wraith, I know, rebukes the moon,
And quarters every plain and hill,
Seeking his master... As for me,
This prayer at least the gods fulfill;
That when I pass the flood and see
Old Charon by the Stygian coast
Take toll of all the shades who land,
Your little, faithful, barking ghost
May leap to lick my phantom hand.

Spotty? Oh, dear.

May I offer my sympathy on the loss of your pet. We recently lost a cat we had for eleven years. It hurts - Floyd gave us much love and purrs.

ALWAYS bad when the dog goes. I still tear up over my old pooch and he's been gone for three years now.
I'm sure God created dog to be man's best friend.
