[history]
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger ordered California's attorney general Friday to take legal action to stop San Francisco from granting marriage licenses to gay couples.
In a letter to Attorney General Bill Lockyer, Schwarzenegger directed the state's top lawyer "to take immediate steps" to get a definitive court ruling declaring what the city is doing to be illegal.

The Governor is solving the California divorce problem in that he won't let people get married any more.
No more weddings means no more money spent for blood tests, licenses, minister or wedding chapel fees, party costs, honeymoons and divorce courts.
An extra bonus is that there won't be any more in-law problems.

Time for a Constitutional Amendment. We've got liberal posters in CA claiming the issue of marriage being between a man and woman has fallen from 69% for to only 51% for it.
Bunk of course, but those who want to effect a change through the judiciary and press are going at it in full force.
The sodomites are at the gates, if not CA, Mexico granting marriage to anything perverted that wants it will have to make this President act.
Can't see the President stay out of this and I do not think the whole country will view a Presidential backing of marriage being between a man and woman as anything but mainstream for America.
Homosexuality is an abomination. Marriage being defiled is unethical and also an abomination.
Surly even most Democrat politicians must know that this will not be good. Boxer is lying and saying she is against it for her political survival.
With elections coming, the Sodomites picked the worst time to bring this to the Democrat party.
This will bring a few liberals out to vote, but many more conservatives that wouldn't have voted will do so.
Maybe the President is waiting till after Ash Wed. to act. Maybe wants to wait and let Mel's passion film hit some more hearts.
Going to be a bad year for anarchist and humanism as I see it... :)

Look, I don't care if homosexuals get married or not. As long as they do it in a state/country that condones it. In this country, and the state of California it's not a legal marriage, so go to a place where it is, and stop trying to subjugate the law.
Laws are made by the representatives of the majority, the gay 'community' is the minority...deal with it. We have children, and grandchildren that we love and want the very best for them. A homosexual life style is the absolute worst for them, and an abomination to most people. I will stand for the homosexual's right to privacy, but I will stand two fold against his right to prey on my grandchildren. Touch one of them and I will make sure you will live a life in prison.

Why not just arrest the Mayor? I'd prefer it if Arnold were to bash down the door to this dweeb's office, grab him by the ankles, slam his skinny down onto his desk, and then tell him "You don't want me back".
