Well everyone, I'm back with an urgent prayer request for yet another tiny baby. I don't know what the outcome of this will be, our Lord knows, and only He can handle this situation.
My niece Ann and her husband Mike were married this past September and became pregnant on their honeymoon. They found out last Tuesday during a doctor's check-up that something was not right with the pregnancy. She went in the next day for an ultra sound and found out the baby is severely physically handicapped. He has a disease that will not enable him to live out of the womb.
The doctors gave them the choice to abort the pregnancy, but they could NOT do it. Ann said she could NOT stop a beating heart.
Ann and Mike named their precious baby Matthew Paul. He's almost 23 weeks "old". The little guy is moving around in the womb, his Mommy can feel him. She may or may not be able to carry this pregnancy to term...this is all in the Lord's hand.
The bottom line here is one of three things....Matthew will NOT make it to term, or he WILL make it to term but still not live, OR our God will heal him in the womb. We've all heard of cases where the doctors HAVE BEEN WRONG, urging an unnecessary abortion. I don't have an answer ... none of us do. I DO KNOW that God is an AWESOME GOD and is able to use this baby and his parents in a mighty way.
My friends, we prayed for another baby and look how that turned out. I beg you to pray for Ann, Mike and Matthew.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you again, on our knees begging you to heal a baby whose chances are mighty slim. Lord, we KNOW that You're the Great Physician and can heal whomever You wish. We also know, and acknowledge, that Your "yes" is not always OUR "yes". Please Lord, give Ann and Mike the spiritual, physical and emotional strength to go through with the remainder of this pregnancy. Lord, please give every health care provider YOUR wisdom. Please let Your words be their words. Please let Your decisions be theirs. And Lord, if it's Your will that Matthew not spend time with his parents here on earth, we thank you for that, too. We know that he will see YOUR face, he'll stand before YOUR throne, and for that we thank you. In Jesus' Holy Name, Amen.
I join in prayer for his family.
My sympathy to the family. God in His infinite wisdom knew what had to be done! My Matthew Paul rest in peace in the arms of his loving God!
Prayers for Ann, Mike and family continue.
Tears are coming so fast, but I thank God that Ann and Mike were given time to love and hold their precious baby Matthew and that he was surrounded by so much love from so many when our Lord took him Home.
Terrible sadness. Thankfully they were able to hold baby Matthew in their arms and love him.
Oh...am so sorry. Oh, their sweet baby. Speechless and heartbroken for them. God bless them all.
I am so sad that the little one did not get to stay with his family. Prayers for the mourning family as they wait out their lifetimes to be reunited with him. May they never know sorrow again.

Very very nice. Thank you for that.
Heavenly Father, we come to You in sorrow and yet with the blessed assurance that You are with us, opening Your arms of love to give comfort and healing, though that will take time. Hold Ann and Mike close to Your heart and reassure them of your presence with them and Your everlasting love. Lead them through each day and give them strength and courage to face tomorrow because they know that You are already there, waiting for them to reach out to You.
In the name of Jesus. Amen.
May God bless you always
She and her husband, their families, and their friends all got to hold Elijah while he was here on earth. They do NOT for a moment regret it. NOT A MOMENT.
God Bless
Joanie's baby girl, Caylee? was born in March, 2 months early. She's home now and doing fine.
Thanks for all your prayers.
Sorry I forgot to update!
Thank you LORD!!! And thank you for the update!!

Prayers sent up, Brad's Gramma
