Well everyone, I'm back with an urgent prayer request for yet another tiny baby. I don't know what the outcome of this will be, our Lord knows, and only He can handle this situation.
My niece Ann and her husband Mike were married this past September and became pregnant on their honeymoon. They found out last Tuesday during a doctor's check-up that something was not right with the pregnancy. She went in the next day for an ultra sound and found out the baby is severely physically handicapped. He has a disease that will not enable him to live out of the womb.
The doctors gave them the choice to abort the pregnancy, but they could NOT do it. Ann said she could NOT stop a beating heart.
Ann and Mike named their precious baby Matthew Paul. He's almost 23 weeks "old". The little guy is moving around in the womb, his Mommy can feel him. She may or may not be able to carry this pregnancy to term...this is all in the Lord's hand.
The bottom line here is one of three things....Matthew will NOT make it to term, or he WILL make it to term but still not live, OR our God will heal him in the womb. We've all heard of cases where the doctors HAVE BEEN WRONG, urging an unnecessary abortion. I don't have an answer ... none of us do. I DO KNOW that God is an AWESOME GOD and is able to use this baby and his parents in a mighty way.
My friends, we prayed for another baby and look how that turned out. I beg you to pray for Ann, Mike and Matthew.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you again, on our knees begging you to heal a baby whose chances are mighty slim. Lord, we KNOW that You're the Great Physician and can heal whomever You wish. We also know, and acknowledge, that Your "yes" is not always OUR "yes". Please Lord, give Ann and Mike the spiritual, physical and emotional strength to go through with the remainder of this pregnancy. Lord, please give every health care provider YOUR wisdom. Please let Your words be their words. Please let Your decisions be theirs. And Lord, if it's Your will that Matthew not spend time with his parents here on earth, we thank you for that, too. We know that he will see YOUR face, he'll stand before YOUR throne, and for that we thank you. In Jesus' Holy Name, Amen.

Prayers sent. The doctors are far from being right all the time; miracles do happen; and I pray the little fellow will be all right. But if not, his parents can take comfort in the fact that they have done the right thing.
Oh, and if you have a ping list for this, please add me to it.
Dear G-d, please heal little Matthew Paul and let him enter this world healthy. Please hold him here in health surrounded by his loving family. Let him stay here with us. We have seen Your healing touch; let us be blessed by it once more. Shock a few doctors too.
Dear Lord,
We know that this is a difficult time, and being human, we don't always see the paths that you have for us during these times.
Lord we Thank you for this precious child, and his parents. We thank you for the time this child has had, so far, to be a blessing, and we thank you for the blessings that are to come.
Lord it's all in your hands, and is all your will, no matter the outcome. Lord please grant your wisdom and strength to this couple and their doctors in the coming dyas and weeks. Grant them patience, grant the grace, and stand by them at all times.
Please Lord, if it's in your plan, We all ask that you heal this baby and let him grow and be born unto this couple. But, if Lord, your plan means that this wonderful child's life is to be short, please help us all to understand this, and still stand in wonder of your grace and mercy at the creation of life, and stand firm in our knowledge that this child will be "waiting at Heaven's Door", and will meet his parents again in Glory.
In the name of the Alimighty Healer, the one who bore the pain and suffering on the cross so that we may live, your son Jesus Christ,

Praying now. God Bless them. Doctors are wrong many times. My granson was supposed to have a deformed leg but he came into this world perfect.
